Code of Honor
Competitor Rules (RPing/OOC):
–There is NO Word / Character / Page limit to RPs.
-Please determine your RP limits with your opponent before you post any extra role plays. We believe in quality OVER quantity. We will average scores for RPs if you post multiple without consulting your opponent first. If you continually make this a habit, we will penalize you.
–Please check your egos at the door. This is a game, and everyone starts on an equal playing field.
--Do not steal others RPs. If you steal an RP; you will be suspended and you will be 'court marshalled.' Under this rule, PWX will have the opportunity to vote upon your release. You will be allowed to defend yourself before the final vote happens
--Please also respect each other, please do not troll, do not post pornography, act professional just in general, act like your mother is here. Because you never know who can show up to this fed.
--Please respect our staff members (judges, match writers, admins). If you have any beef with our staff, please take it up with us and we will work to resolve your issues. Please do not take these issues to our forums.
No-Showing Guideline. (RPing):
For regular roster members/non-champions:
—First no-show – warning through PM and character will be job to the opponent (if opponent RPed. If not match will be cancelled)
—Second no-show – warnings will be posted on the forums and suspension.
—Third no-show – Do not pass Go! Do not collect $200, you will be fired!
For champions:
—First no-show – Warning through PM and character will be job to the opponent, title will be put on the line the following week.
—Second no-show – Warnings will be posted on the forums and character will be stripped of his/her title.
—Third no-show – Do not pass Go! Do not collect $200, you will be fired!
For new roster members:
--First no-show – – Do not pass Go! Do not collect $200, you will be asked to re-apply. If you no show after that, you will have to seek approval from our fed head to re-join our roster via PMing him.
NOTE: If you think you won’t be able to RP, please inform any of the staff (PWXOnline and Brian Hollywood) at least 24 hours before deadline and we’ll let you off.
Match Writing Rules:
--Do onto other’s characters as you would do unto your own. For example: if someone RP’d on a team better than someone else and you do not give them in ring time, you’ve probably done a bad thing.
--Squashes matches are for no-shows/jobber characters only unless discussed with opponents first.
--Abide by our judge’s rulings always.
--Clear everything angle wise with ALL opponents first if angling a match.
--Consider what the person’s character is like (heel or face) and use it for the ongoing storylines.
Match Rules (Mainly for writers)
-—Matches are all contested with a 15 minute time limit, unless otherwise stated.
—Title matches are contested under a 30 Minute / Television Time Remaining Limit…unless otherwise stated.
—Wrestlers MUST Shake Hands before and after a match, if they respect each other.
— The official has a 10 count on the floor, and a five count when a wrestler is in the ropes.
—Failure to return to the ring, before a 10 count will result in a Count Out
—Failure to break a hold after the ref’s five count, will result in disqualification
—Excessive use of weapons will also result in a DQ.
—Outside interference will result in a DQ
— Tag Matches are contested under the same rules, but also under Lucha Libre Rules. There is still a 5 count rope break / 20 count on the floor. Lucha rules make it so if a wrestler leaves the ring, it constitutes a legal tag. Matches are designed this way to keep the action IN THE RING (and make match writers’ lives a little easier)
Match Writing (Personals)
-If you sign up for a match, you are obligated to completing that match when it's specifically due. (Will have penalties posted for this in the event the match isn't in on time/done later.)
-Please PM Hollywood all matches when finished and Hollywood's account ONLY unless otherwise specified.
-If you are writing a match, please PM the wrestlers if they have any special requests that they would like in their match. If you need ideas on writing matches or certain spots, please PM Hollywood and he will help you in any writing necessity you may need.
-If there is any time you take a match and cannot perform writing duties that week, please get with Hollywood ASAP so that the match writing situation can get cleared up in a quick fashion so there's no delays to the show.
GIMMICK MATCHES
These are some of the less self explanatory “gimmick” matches PWX runs. More will be added as needed.
—A Fight Without Honor is a Hardcore Match. These matches include no rules, no count outs, and falls count anywhere. The ref is only there to count the pin, or hear a submission. This variant on a hardcore / extreme rules match is only used for blood feuds.
—When a match is contested under Revolution Rules, it is usually a multi-man (singles or tag) elimination match. The stipulation, is that each round of the match (after each elimination)-the stipulation changes. EX: A Four Way Rev Rules Could start as a standard 4 way, than become a Tables Match after one elimination, and a Ladder after the second.
—A Razor Wire Warfare match is a no ropes match. The ropes are replaced with Razor Wire-as opposed to regular old barb wire. This match is incredibly bloody, and incredibly violent. Another rare match for PWX fans to see.
—WWE has Hell In A Cell, TNA has, some stupid gimmick with a stupid concept nobody cares about. PWX has the Seventh Circle. It originally used in PWX at Civil War, and was originally known as the Cage of Death or Cage of Wires. The Seventh Circle is an octagon cage surrounding the ring side area. Inside the cage are various weapons, including tables, chairs, ladders, signs, and light tubes. This match is incredibly rare, and insanely violent. There are a pair of scaffolds in the corners of the cage, as well as a razor wire spiderweb attached to one of the sides of the ring-leaning against the cage wall. Directly across from it-is a pane of glass in the same fashion.
There are two variants of this match:
NORMAL SEVENTH CIRCLE is where a standard match takes place inside of the cage. This can be singles or tag team, usually elimination or sudden death.
CIVIL WAR is the War Games variant of this match. This is where 2 teams of 4 or more collide in a War Games Rules bout
-Two wrestlers start off for five minutes
-another wrestler enters after that
-every 2 minute, another wrestler enters.
-single fall to the finish.
Judging Guidelines:
The following guidelines are what we look for mostly in your role plays here in PWX. We want to make it clear so we have fewer disputes. Our grading system will be subjective based on what we thinks works and what our tastes are like. We will have the ability to back up our opinions if you do have disputes by grading you upon the following categories:
--Match Relevance: This includes any story lines you are involved with, trash talking your opponent, injuries, etc. This will be related around your in character and wrestling match solely.
--Character Development: This includes your gimmick such as if you’re a movie star, who your friends are, etc. We want your characters to have out of wrestling interests. Rather you want to add match relevance to this part or not is not key, but it’s outside of PWX. We want your character to develop. For example: if your character is a fighter, show them training. Character Development is heavily judged upon and it's recommended that you have Character Development in your RPs. We want to see your character grow as a superstar. Having development helps the flow of your character.
--Description: This is how detailed you are in your RPs. Please be descriptive and aware of where your wrestler is at. Exp: If he/she is sitting outside on a bench on a nice summer day. Where is this bench located? Are there people around? How hot/cold is it? Active descriptions you put in your RP help not only the judger, but the audiences of other fellow handlers paint a better picture on just what is going on in the background or the immediate scene your wrestler is engaged in. If you have any questions or need any help or advice with description I (Hollywood) would be more than happy to help you out with this.
--Creativity: This could be classified under Character Development or Match Relevance but all in all, be creative with your RPs. A good story doesn't have to be complex to enjoy. You may do so, but be careful as you don't want to lose your readers attentions. A good definition of creativity is keeping your reader engaged with your content. Most importantly, though, BE ORIGINAL! Do not copy and paste past RP's or other people's work. If I find that you do so, you will be "Court Marshaled." I heavily frown upon work that's copied or plagiarized and it will not be tolerated in PWX. I don't mind that you use flashbacks from other RPs, or even reference points, but don't let me catch myself reading material I already have. It is not fair for your opponents to have original work that they have spent hours on against work that had no time spent and was merely copied or stolen. It may work in other feds (God knows why and those feds don't last very long) but it won't work here. I've seen that shit happen and it's not pretty for any parties involved so don't find yourself in that situation and well be golden!
--Other: These are solely objective things such as grammar, determination (such as showing up before the deadline, always RPing, etc), and formatting as well as anything else not mentioned above. I'm NOT a grammar nazi and I do not grade upon grammar. However, if I need another judge for a specific match, I will call upon one and there is one here who will use the grammar against you. (If the RP's are that close to grade.)
Other Concerns
If you find that there is anything your confused about the Code of Honor, please PM Brian Hollywood (fedhead) on any questions or concerns that you may have regarding the COH or hit him up on any form of communication you may have with him.
Also, if you are looking to apply, there is instructions on where to find out how to in the application section.
It will be listed, however, that if you wish to apply, please fill out the application and email it to colonelbreaker@gmail.com. Do NOT, under any circumstances, post your profile or application to the roster section unless having previous permission to do so. You may edit your profiles and bios as many times as you'd like, but if your just applying and are new to PWX, please send me your bio or post it under the application section and I shall further review it for acceptance.
DISCLAIMER: I have the right to add/change/edit the Code of Honor at any given time. Please check and refer to this regularly as you may find it changed or updated at any time. I want everyone to always be fully up to date on the rules and any changes that may come should they be called upon for publishing. Everyone should be aware of this and I ask that everyone use this as your lifeline. I will, however, post something to let everyone know that the COH has been changed/updated just to give everyone that extra awareness. If you miss that somehow or just ignore it, then double dumbass on you (enter Star Trek reference) and I will not feel sorry for any bitching that occurs at that time. I do like to have fun, and I want everyone to know that! But please respect the COH and any questions on any of this should be taken care with me. Thank you!
