SINGLES MATCH
NIGHTHAWK vs ELIJAH BLACK
As the bell rings to start their match Nighthawk and Elijah Black stare holes through each other, any competitive respect they might have had buried under quite a few layers of contempt and distrust for what they understand the other to represent. Standing in the center of the ring and never moving from their spot both men continue to stare at each other as if reliving their entire history with each other in one glance, before finally locking up and almost seamlessly going into a Greco-Roman knucklelock as they jockey for position and the advantage of the match like two bulls before both men finally find themselves near the ropes where Elijah waits a beat after the referee breaks them up before landing a loud open-handed slap to the face of the Chicago native. Leaning against the ropes for just a moment as he tries to make sense of what just happened the “Wrestling Machine” allows a brief flash of anger and hot naked disgust to thunder across his face as he runs his tongue around his mouth before standing back into the center of the ring and re-fastening his blue-&-white two-tone gloves before again locking up, this time going for a traditional collar-and-elbow lock-up instead of the knucklelock that he was in previously. Continuing to jockey for position Nighthawk finally traps the Michigander against the ropes and waits a beat after the referee breaks them up before pasting Elijah with a gigantic forearm to the face as the “Man of 1000 Holds” is clearly looking to show that he is not going to be bullied or pushed around on this night.
Chris: These two men know each other very well!
Ricky: Nighthawk isn't going to be bullied by Elijah Black tonight!
As Nighthawk steps back into the center of the ring, his eyes now gazing on the torso of Elijah Black and more specifically his left arm, both men stand in the center of the ring and immediately lock up intensely before finally heading back towards the corner where the referee moves in immediately to break the two men up before reading them both the riot act about not giving clean breaks and threatens both men with a double disqualification if they don’t immediately clean up their act. Locking up again Elijah Black comes out of it with a headlock and quickly takes that over, grinding the bone of his forearm underneath the left eye of the Chicago native both as a tool to make the hold a little bit more painful as well as yet another way to humiliate his intensely proud opponent. Bending down to see if Nighthawk is ready to give the match up the referee is greeted with a shake of the pointer finger and a loudly audible no as the “Wrestling Machine” slowly rocks his way out of the headlock before stepping through into the reverse La Majistral cradle he calls the Jorge Rivera Special that gets a long 2-count before he holds on for an omoplata with a cravate attached as he tries to wear down the left arm of Elijah Black. Yanking back on the hold with as much force as he can possibly muster the “Man of 1000 Holds” releases the hold when Elijah gets to the ropes, letting go on the count of 4.)
Chris: Nighthawk in control of this match up, but he's gotta watch himself so he doesn't get DQ'd from the referee!
Ricky: Nighthawk may be in control, but Black has been showing some nice offense tonight.
As Nighthawk goes into a low crouch waiting for Elijah to get back up to his feet, Elijah kicks the bottom rope in disgust over being outwrestled. Stepping back in the center of the ring, shaking out his left arm disdainfully almost as though the mere thought of being trapped in that hold offended his sensibilities, he goes back to a collar-and-elbow lockup and lands a crisp forearm shiver right underneath the left eye and uses that as a base to apply a half-nelson, hitting a back heel trip and quickly transitioning into a Stretch Plum as he grinds the bone of his forearm across the face of the Chicago native looking both to wear him down and humiliate him at the same time. Continuing to twist on the Stretch Plum tighter and tighter Elijah suddenly finds himself susceptible to a thumblock, which Nighthawk uses to turn him over into a Fujiwara armbar. Pulling back on the hold tightly the “Wrestling Machine” temporarily loses his leverage on the hold due to Elijah grabbing the waistband of his trunks and pulling him into a schoolboy that gets a long 2-count, using that opening to again land another forearm shiver under the left eye before taking him over into another side headlock.
Chris: Back and forth, physicality by both men!
Ricky: Now Elijah is trying to stay in control!
As Elijah tries to tighten his side headlock hold on Nighthawk, Nighthawk tries to roll over Elijah but fails. Elijah keeps a firm lock on Nighthawk, but Nighthawk, not giving up, tries to roll over again. He fails again, however, Elijah breaks the hold. Elijah gets to his feet as well as Nighthawk. Elijah runs at Nighthawk but Nighthawk grabs him and swings over him taking him down to the mat and locks Elijah's arm and locks his arms around the face of Elijah.
Chris: HANGMAN'S CLUTCH!!
Ricky: Out of nowhere! How did he find the strength to muster that?!
Nighthawk applies pressure as Elijah struggles in pain. Nighthawk as Elijah right in the middle of the ring as Elijah moans out in pain. Elijah tries to reach for the ropes but Nighthawk pulls back and applies more severe pressure. Elijah, still trying to reach for the ropes, can't move anymore as he has no choice but to tap out. Nighthawk immediately releases the hold as he slowly gets to his feet.
Chris: Nighthawk did it! He was able to grab a victory over the toughness of Elijah Black! Incredible!
Ricky: These two men are no strangers to each other so it was a well hard fought match by both men!
As Nighthawk celebrates in the ring, he is quickly jumped by a very frustrated Elijah Black. Black unleashes fist after fist after he takes Nighthawk to the ground.
Ricky: Black getting his revenge!
Chris: This was always a heated rivalry, but come on Elijah, there's no need for this!
Black strikes Hawk in the head as Hawk holds it in pain. Black smiles before reaching under the ring as he grabs a pair of brassknuckles. Black slips them on and smiles sadistically as he waits for Hawk to get to his feet.
Chris: Oh god, don't do this!
Ricky: There's gonna be blood!
Hawk makes it to his feet as is met with the knucks straight in his face. He falls back down to the mat again as Black looks down at an unconscious Hawk. Black smiles again before lifting up his fist with the knucks slowly. He cocks his fist back and eyes a particular target on Hawk. Black unleashes and connects with Hawk's eye. Hawk's eye start to gush blood as referee's and other officials escort Black out of the ring. Black laughs as the arena drown him in boos. Black throws the knucks down as he is escorted out of the ring and to the black. Meanwhile, Nighthawk is in the ring holding his eye and rolling in the ring in pain. The PWX medics attend to Hawk in the ring.
Chris: By lord...that has got to be one of the toughest things I've ever seen!
Ricky: What got into Elijah Black?! He just took things probably a bit to far.
Chris: Well obviously, a nerve has definitely been struck with Black, because he isn't taking things anymore..
Ricky: The medics helping Nighthawk right now.
Chris: Folks, were going to send this to a commercial as medics attend to Hawk and get things straightened out, we'll be right back.
WINNER: NIGHTHAWK VIA SUBMISSION

The PWX cameras focus on the entranceway as “For the Love of the Game” by Pillar blares over the P.A. system. The crowd erupts into cheers as moments later, Ricky Valero emerges through the curtains. He dressed in his ring gear with a leather jacket covering his upper half and aviator sunglasses hiding his eyes. As pink strobe lights flash throughout the Varsity Arena, Ricky makes his way towards the ring, slapping hands with the fans in attendance.
He ascends up the steel steps and enters the ring, spinning around in a circle in the center as the cheers rain down upon him. He lets out a confident “WOO!” before heading over and retrieving a microphone.
Ricky: It’s so good to be back in this ring, in front of all of you folks who came out tonight to watch Adrenaline’s latest edition featuring some of the best in the business today. That, of course, includes myself when I go one-on-one with Bushido in a matchup of two newcomers to PWX. Bushido is well traveled. The scouting report on him says he also well trained in a variety of different styles. He can beat an opponent in a variety of different ways. He claims he’s here seeking respect, well, the fact that he’ll even show up to wrestle me earns him all the respect I can give him.
Ricky smirks as the fans cheer. He licks his chops and wipes the smug grin from his face.
Ricky: Bushido, you seem to be a smart individual. So let me ask you: what the hell is your problem? You come here and the first thing you’re spouting off is perpetual nonsense? I’m acting like a child by pointing out that I beat the company’s World Champion in my debut match here? You say it doesn’t matter because I’m not the new champion? The hell it doesn’t, it’s merely a preview of what’s to come when I’m given my title shot. And I make you want to kick my head off?
He scoffs.
Ricky: I can’t wait to see you try. I’ve been playing this game for 13 years and I’ve seen everything there is to see in that time. I’ve been through some of the most hellacious matches ever seen, so you want to talk about whether I’m ready for “your” violence? I surpassed fearing “your” violence over a decade ago, pee wee. I’ve wrestled on six continents and if you include the crazed Antarctic monster I wrestled during my time with the NEWA, I have the whole globe covered. There’s nothing you do that I haven’t already seen in terms of violence.
He starts to pace back and forth, smiling as he shakes his head.
Ricky: You’re looking to make your mark the same way I did mine a week ago, that’s all fine and dandy. You’re supposed to be confident; you’re supposed to be so sure of yourself. But don’t be so sure of yourself that you come running into this ring only to get YOUR head kicked off before the bell even sounds. You want to fight? Well then you better come ready to fight because when I fight, I come with my life on the line. Every punch, every kick, every suplex could be my last and I make damn sure you feel every single move. You want to get violent tonight, Bushido? I can get violent. I can get as violent as I possibly need to. But when all is said and done, when a pair of shoulders are on that mat and the referee makes the three-count, you better believe it will be my hand he’s raising as the victor.
You too cool to talk? Then let’s do this thing and let me show you how I can back it all up.
IT’S GAME TIME BABY!
The PWX fans burst into cheers, bringing Ricky’s trademark smirk back to the forefront. He stares directly into the camera.
Ricky: Are you ready?
The fans break out into cheers as Ricky stands in the center of the ring, basking in the energy and emotion surrounding him.
RICKY! RICKY! RICKY!

The crowd is split down the middle as we can hear them rallying for both men. As the referee reaches number five, Ricky shows some signs of consciousness. The referee continues with the count. Bushido is now moving as well. Both men finally regains consciousness and are crawling on the mat towards the ropes. Both men uses the ropes as leverage to get back up to their respective vertical bases.
Chris: Both these guys giving everything they have! What a fight this has been!
Ricky: I'm not going to lie, Bushido is actually impressing me tonight!
Bushido gets back up first and Ricky followed after a couple of moments. Ricky wasted no time as he marches down where Bushido is. Ricky grabs Bushido by the hair and drags him to the middle of the ring. Ricky hammers him with a forearm but Bushido answers back with a forearm of his own. Ricky slaps him but Bushido slaps him too! A slugfest then ensues as both men go at it in the middle of the ring! The fans are blowing the roof off the arena as they enjoy every minute of this exchange!
Chris: Listen to this crowd!!
Ricky: Back and forth they go!!
Bushido turns the tide as he kicks Ricky in the midsection doubling him over. Bushido attempts to run towards the ropes but Ricky recovers in time to grab him by the hair and pulls him back before hitting him with a vicious elbow to the back of the head! Bushido is clearly knocked out from that but Ricky is not done! He locked Bushido in a Cobra Clutch before lifting him up and dropping him to the mat with the Franchise Tag! Bushido lands head first on the mat!
Ricky quickly goes for the cover…
ONE!
TWO!!
THREE!!!
Chris: Holy shit, that was one hell of a match!
Ricky: I told you my man Ricky would get the job done!
Chris: That may have been, but Bushido impressive in his debut match tonight! That was one hell of a fucking match!

SINGLES MATCH
NIGHTMARE vs JASON ARIES
Jason Aries is seen in the ring waiting for the arrival of Nightmare for their second face off in PWX. A few moments go by and there is no sign of Nightmare prompting Aries to question the ref who has no answers. The Titantron soon kicks to life as we see Nightmare up on the big screen grinning.
Chris: What the hell is going on?!
Ricky: I thought we were gonna have a singles match.
Chris: Well seeing as how Nightmare is on the Titantron, it looks like he's got other plans.
Nightmare: "I told you I would be back, sooner or later. Last week was just a small hint at what is to come between us Aries. Trust me on that. There is length I won't go, no distance I won't travel to beat my opponents, physically or mentally. So I guess what I'm trying to say if, how do you have any hope to beat me when you ain't got a leg to stand on?"
Chris: No leg to stand on?
Ricky: What the hell is he talking about?
Nightmare starts to laugh as Jason looks on confused and cautious as to what the threat meant as the crowd starts to stir. In from behind Nightmare slides into the ring with a chair and swings for Aries! But Aries ducks in the nick of time and starts firing away at Nightmare not going to be caught off guard so easily.
Chris: No wonder! Nightmare trying to ambush Aries!
Ricky: But Aries foiled his plan!
He fires off a few more stiff shots beore running to the ropes and comin in off the rebound for a clothesline to knock Nightmare down, but Nightmare has a duck of his own and CRACK! Catches Aries in the head with the chair! He wastes no time in sliding the chair over one leg and heading to the corner as the crowd boos before charging in with a full speed stomp to the chair!
Ricky: By God, Nightmare showing no mercy on Aries!
Chris: This is uncalled for! Aries had Nightmare at first, but it looks like he couldn't keep him down.
Aries screams in pain as he grabs his leg but Nightmare kicks him back down to the mat, sliding the chair over the other leg and delivering another high speed stomp to it! Kicking the chair away as Aries tries to react to the econd stomp Nightmare grabs both legs and gives a criss-cross, turning Aries on his side for Sinful Sanity! Nightmare wrenches in the hold as if he were trying to rip Aries' legs right off of his body! Aries fights the urge to tap when the hold is released and nightmare slides from the ring as more officials arrive to tend to Aries. All the while Nightmare slithers back into the crowd grinning from ear to ear.
Chris: By God, what we just witnessed out there was absolutely sick!
Ricky: Where does this leave Aries?! I wouldn't be surprised if this was the last time we see Aries for awhile..
WINNER: NO CONTEST

We cut briefly backstage where the PWX parking lot is shown. A few moments pass by before a black limo pulls up slowly into the garage. The limo sits there running as no one seems to get out of it.
Ricky: Is this dejavu, or do I have this feeling like I've seen this before..
Chris: Last week, there was a limo that looked just like that one in our garage. If after what transpired last week...I'm rather interested what we could be in store for soon.
Ricky: Hmm..maybe I could be escorted out of that tonight.
Chris: I doubt that...but I'm sure if that limo belongs to who I think it belongs to, action may pick up very quickly tonight!
The camera cuts back to ringside and we are taken into the following match.

SINGLES MATCH
SCHMEID vs BOBBY BAGGINS
[The bell rings and Schmied immediately charges at Bobby Baggins with a monstrous clothesline. The crowd starts chanting “Goldberg.” Schmied picks up Baggins and drops him viciously with a military press. Schmied stomps at Baggins. The referee pulls him off at the count of 5. Schmied immediately picks up Baggins and hits a powerbomb on him. He covers him for a two count, but releases it and laughs for a moment. Schmied then grabs Baggins and hits a spear stiffly on him. He motions to the crowd to get their attention. He picks up Baggins and hits the Blitzkrieg Hammer on him and grabs him and pins him for a 2.9 count, but releases it. Schmied once again picks up Baggins and hits a Blitzkrieg Hammer and lets the referee count to ten for the knock out.]
Ricky: And he’s flatlined Baggins. He’s not moving.
Chris: Just like he did with Hunt last week. This was a cake walk for Schmied. I think he was trying to send a message to the masked man.
1…2…3…4…5…6…7…8…9…TEN!!!!!!
[As Schmied starts to celebrate his win, immediately the masked man jumps Schmied from the crowd. Schmied starts brawling with the man and starts hammering him stiffly with right hands. Schmied nails a stiff punch across the mask and the masked man drops stiffly towards the ground.]
Ricky: Looks like Schmied was waiting for this man all week. Honestly, I think this is why he asked for a match this week.
Chris: Wasn’t that obvious? Apparently, you don’t know Schmied as well as the rest of us. He’s stubborn and will kill to get what he wants.
[Schmied rams the masked man across the ring polls for a moment before setting him up for the Blitzkrieg Hammer. The crowd boos in unison as Schmied taunts them. He pumps the masked man in position for a moment. As he tries to drop the masked man on his head, the masked man slides out of Schmied’s arms and lands on his feet. Schmied turns around and immediately gets hammer with a kick.]
Ricky: Wait a minute! I recognize that kick!
Chris: Could it be? He cannot be here tonight! Is it? Is it!
Ricky: NO! NO! NO!
Chris: YES! YES! YES!
[The masked man unmasks and pulls off his helmet to reveal its Brian Hollywood. Security run towards the barricades, but Brian Hollywood immediately holds up a backstage pass and laughs at the crew. He picks up a microphone to speak very briefly, but very passionately.]
Brian Hollywood: Darin, you cannot keep me out. Before Jessica Harmony got released by the board, I got UNLIMITED backstage passes, so you can completely count on me crashing your parties from here on out. And trust me, you’re not going to keep me from destroying your big bad monster. I know he’s as stubborn as me. That’s why this Sunday’s your only chance Schmied. You get to put your hands on me one on one outside in the parking lot. I got my lawyers to sign a waiver and I challenge you to an UNSANCTIONED MATCH in the parking lot at Devil’s Night. And Schmied, one last thing. You’ll get to feel the hell your boss put me through, and THAT, my friends, is an executive promise.
[Brian immediately walks towards the guards as they escort him out. He slaps hands with the fans, much to the dismay of the now present Darin Zion. Darin stands up on stage and motions for Hollywood to get out of the ring. Darin then points at Schmied then points to Hollywood and laughs rather sadistically.]
Chris: I don’t know why Hollywood would ask willingly for a match against Schmied, but that’s SUICIDE!
Ricky: I agree with you, but honestly, you never know what can happen here in PWX.
Chris: Yes, kind of like you owning me a thousand bucks for last week.
Ricky: HAHAHAHA, you’re funny! But let’s just say there will be hell to pay this Sunday at Devil’s night!
[The scene fades to black as Zion, who’s tending to Schmied, stares back at Hollywood who’s glaring back at him.]

As Nighthawk lies in the trainer's room, having had a gauze bandage placed over his left eye, he slowly sits up unsteadily as his entire balance is wobbled by Elijah Black's attack. Clad in his ring gear, and his ring boots, the "Wrestling Machine" slowly climbs off of the bench and holds on to it carefully.
Nighthawk: "I'm not the sort of man who usually asks for help. I like to solve my problems on my own. But in the condition I'm in <Nighthawk gestures to the bandage covering his eye>, I think it's past time to ask for help. And i think my best choice for help, to help me deal with Elijah Black, is the man who has been next to me for the past half-hour. We've been sitting here talking, commiserating over our injuries, and I think he's the perfect partner to help me do what needs to be done. At Devil's Night, I will be partnering with Jason Aries. Nightmare, if you want to jump him again, you'll find him next to me. And Elijah Black, if you want to try and hurt me some more, I'll see you in Detroit. And this time, I won't hold back. This time, you'll be the one that's being drug back here.
Goodnight gentlemen, loosely as I might use that term. May sleep give you the courage to go on."

As Troy was standing out in the ring with his girlfriend Ophelia trash talking the fans, you could hear a voice screaming over the speakers.
Ophelia! Troy! You two bitches need to focus up here and not on those fans for a few moments.
Timothy Hunt was standing outside near a pricey car that had 'Hse of Stone' on the license plate. Timothy chuckled as he clinked a metal baseball bat on the wall. Ophelia knew what Timothy was up to. Ophelia quickly grabbed a microphone and looked back up towards the screen.
Tim...come on. We can work something out...
No we can't Phelia. We can't work anything out since you are dating the man that holds the one thing I have been after for a very long time now. Troy, you better keep your bitch on a leash or I will do more than put her back in a neck brace come Devil's night.
The fans cheered Timothy as Ophelia got a crazed look in her eyes. Troy tried to calm Ophelia down, but Ophelia started screaming at him.
You don't have what it takes Timothy. You will never become world champion. Not as long as I am around....
Timothy rolled his eyes in his head and proceeded to sigh. Troy looked at Timothy funny, but Timothy had that glare on his face that said 'don't fuck with me'. Ophelia put the microphone back up to her mouth, but Timothy stuck his hand up towards the camera. Ophelia bit her bottom lip as Timothy began to speak again.
You better keep your trashy mouth shut. No one wants to hear you speak anymore wench. Now as for you Troy...I have thought long and hard about things and if Darin Zion was any kind of a manager like he says he is, then he would bring back the stipulation of the Devil's Playground that Jessica Harmony stated before she just disappeared. If he doesn't...then he will lose more than just his world champion. You are shaking your head no at me boy? How about I show you what would happen to you either way things play out...
Timothy smirked and turned towards the car. Troy and Ophelia's eyes grew wide as Timothy started blasting the windows out of the car. The fans cheered as he took out the headlights of the car and then Timothy pulled out a box cutter. Timothy opened the car door and started cutting up the fine black leather seats that made the car. Timothy then proceeded to get out of the car and use the box cutter to 'key' the car. Troy and Ophelia were going completely nuts in the middle of the ring as Timothy finished trashing the car. Timothy smirked as he looked back at the camera.
Keep your bitch at home during our match Troy. I will make sure that she ends up a victim of controversy as well as you. I will be world champion at all costs. Darin...I hope you also see this as a warning to you. I am a man with nothing left to lose at this point in my career. I will see you bitches in Detroit. You all want the old Timothy Hunt that took John Pariah to the limit....then you got him at the pay per view. Good luck against Anton Chase Troy.
The camera faded to black and you could see Ophelia and Troy fuming mad in the middle of the ring. Ophelia started to go nuts as Anton's music started to play over the loud speakers.
