***Wrestler's Entrance: "For the Love of the Game" by Pillar blasts throughout the arena. White and pink strobe lights flash as "Pretty" Ricky makes his appearance and stands through a cloud of fog turned to the side a bit and his arms out with a genuine smirk lightening his face.
Ricky makes his way towards the ring, high-fiving some fans as he does. He circles the ring, before reaching the far corner. He slowly climbs up to the steps and leans his back against the ropes, bouncing a few times before hopping into the ring.
Ricky spins around in the center of the ring with his arms extended out, absorbing the sheer hatred the fans shower him with. He walks towards the ropes on the far side of the ring and simply smiles. The music slowly quiets down as Ricky turns and leans against the ropes closest to the entranceway, awaiting his opponent; or if his opponent is already in the ring, he'll just prepare for the match he's got ahead of him.

***Wrestler's Bio: Born April 24th, 1982 was the man we know as "Pretty" Ricky Valero, Richard Nicholas Valero in Staten Island, NY to Salvatore and Rose Valero. Ricky was the middle of three children, an older brother, Sal, and a younger sister, Angelina. Unfortunately, all three children would be abandoned at a young age, the oldest Sal being 17 years old in 1993. The three siblings were lost and alone and despite family members taking them in and moving them out to Camden, NJ, things never seemed to work.
Ricky was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing them as well, especially baseball, being named to the All-NJ team in his senior year of high school. Ricky was best at his second love though...wrestling, of course. He wrestled in the 140 lb., 145 lb., and finally the 189 lb. weight class in his junior and senior years, placing in regionals both years. Sal was much different and was never very active, preferring to read and listen to music than to get out and do something and because of this, Ricky and Sal never really got along though Sal did take an interest in wrestling when Ricky joined the high school team as a freshman in high school. His sister was in her own little world, locked away from everyone and thus, so was Ricky.
Ricky was your typical bad ass, popular kid at school who would do anything for attention, often punished for bad behavior. He never cared for school nor did he care what his superiors had to say about his attitude, always making sure every knew just how he really felt about them, a feeling probably held more closely to his parents, whom he still holds a lot of animosity towards.
In June of 2000, Ricky graduated from Woodrow Wilson High in Camden and immediately enrolled into the Monster Factory wrestling school where the likes of past greats Bam Bam Bigelow, Chris Candido, ,D'Lo Brown, Raven, and the Headbangers. He trained with the great Larry Sharpe and progressed quickly. Larry Sharpe was impressed and made calls to promotions around the area, informing them of this young, 18-year old kid and his abilities, raving about his character and mic skills as well as obvious ring talent.
In December, Ricky joined the IPW, Inferno Pro Wrestling, a league he was recruited into by his friend Blazin' Bobby Zooka, and quickly climbed the ladder. Ricky played the character of Black Jack, the very same character of which he entered the SWA under. He took on the likes of many top competitors within the league and garnered some gold during his short stay, most notably the Tag Team titles with his tag team partner Mizery in a death-defying Cage Match at February 2001's Dead or Alive pay-per-view event.
Unfortunately just months later, the league would find itself in a financial trauma and would have no choice to close down but not before their final event on April 22nd, two days before Ricky's birthday. Ricky's brother Sal had been enrolled in the same wrestling school as Ricky and had finally made his way into the IPW just in time to watch it crumble. This lit a fire under Ricky who did not take nicely to his brother trying to steal his spotlight and so the family feud began culminating at Doom's Day in a Lion's Den Weapons match for the IPW HardcOre Championship. Both brothers were at each other's throats all night but it would soon be Ricky who came out victorious and stood tall over his brother, his title raised in the air and that trademark smirk across his face.
In December 2001, Ricky finally found his home after months of searching and landed himself in Shootcamp, set to take on all that would be placed in front of him. In a decade with the company, Ricky achieved multiple heavyweight championship reigns, making his mark as one of the most popular—or hated—superstars in the company throughout.
For the past two years, Ricky has been a rolling stone. Taking time off on occasion and spending time on the roster of some other promotions, such as the Next Evolution Wrestling Alliance, Universal Wrestling Alliance, Global Pro Wrestling and more.
At 31 years of age, Ricky has accomplished plenty in his wrestling career, but he isn’t ready to call it quits just yet. PWX is the next step in his professional wrestling career with the hopes of rising to the top once again in due time.
