Qualifier Match for the Ultimate Survival Match at Never Say Die for the PWX Hybrid Title:
Valencio vs Micheal Wrecker
The show kicked off with a Hybrid Title qualifier. Wrecker took Valencio down quickly-and continued a ground and pound game until Valencio countered in the corner with a big boot. Valencio went onto the offensive, as he continually knocked the bigger Michael Wrecker down with hit and run tactics.
Valencio dropped Wrecker with a double arm DDT. He floated over into the pin-but Wrecker kicked out at 2. He lifted him up, and shot him into the ropes, coming back with a backbody drop on the rebound. He quickly bounces off the ropes-and hits a shining wizard on Wrecker. He goes for a cover, but again only gets a two count. Valencio lifts him up-and hits an uppercut, but Wrecker no sells it and grabs the hero by the throat-throwing him into the corner. He delivers a running knee strike, and then hits Valencio with a gutwrench power bomb out of the corner. He goes into the cover: 1-2-KICKOUT! He makes a cut throat motion, and hits Valencio with The Wreckoning and scores the 1-2-3. Michael Wrecker is now on path to win the PWX Hybrid Championship!
Winner: Michael Wrecker
As we cut to the back of the arena, we enter the locker room of X-Treme Dream. He is rummaging through a closet, obviously looking for weapons. Dream pulls out a broom and smiles.
"Time to sweep out the trash. Creed, I didn't ask the camera man back here for a promo. I just wanted you to be prepared. I wanted you to get ready for your demise."
Dream then pulls off the bandage that covered his forehead. There are some fresh stitches in the middle of his forehead that is fairly sick looking.
"Last week, I put myself in a war with an old rival, but that won't affect me when we step into the ring. Even if I was down to my last leg, I'd still manage to get into that ring and battle you Creed. So I hope you are searching for some weapons to protect yourself."
Dream cracks as a smile as he digs in the closet some more. He pulls out a trash can lid and grins. He then breaks the broom stick away from the broom. He then wields them like a sword and lid.
"Here is you some protection right here Creed." Dream snickers. "The Violent Messiah...I'm not even going to keep this going on for too long, because I said everything I needed to say yesterday. But you consider yourself a messiah...because a messiah will bow to the king! And I am the KING OF EXTREME! And I will show you NO REMORSE in that ring."
Dream turns around and rummages through the closet and starts throwing some more weapons into the floor. From a mop bucket to a can of Lysol. Dream turns around as the camera man starts walking out the door.
"By the way Creed, or Mr. Messiah...or Mr. Violence...whatever you want me to call you. I hope that you have called your family and told them goodbye. Because you won't walk away from the ring tonight. I will see you in a few minutes."
Dream turns raises his arms up into an 'X' and we cut back to the arena.
Extreme Rules Match:
X-Treme Dream vs Creed
Creed is already in the ring, when Dream slides in from behind, nailing Creed with a spear. Dream begins to pound him-before getting up and dropping a knee across the face. He grabs a kendo stick out of one of the trash cans sitting in the corner, and busts it over Creed’s skull-breaking the stick in two. He runs off the ropes-as Creed is still standing dazed, and delivers a hard cross body, rolling Creed into a 2 count. He lifts up the “Violent Messiah”-and shoots him into the ropes. He delivers a running kick in the corner-and then snaps him over with a snapmare and kicks him in the spine.
He grabs the trash can full of weapons, and dumps them out. He smashes the can over the head of Creed once, and then puts the can ontop of him. He grabs a chair, and smashes the can repeatedly-knocking Creed down. He steps out onto the ropes-and slingshots himself in with a tope atomico. He covers Creed:
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!!!!!!!!
The ref raises Dream’s hand, and he makes a motion for a belt around his waist. Fade out.
Winner: X-Treme Dream
EXECUTIVE DETERMINATION
[We are inside Brian Hollywood's locker room. Hollywood is seen sitting against the walls purely concentrated. All of a sudden, his concentration is disturbed and we see Shawn Lester walk up towards Hollywood. Hollywood glares at Shawn and is definately not looking happy.]
Shawn Lester: Mr. Hollywood...
Hollywood interrupts him. He doesn't care what Shawn has to say.
Hollywood: Well what a coincidence. I should have expected you to bother me sometime during the night! Figures, you STILL don't seem to know how to deal with me properly. At least you finally gotten the name right without studdering or correcting yourself this time. But yet you enter MY locker room without knocking?! You seriously have balls Shawn. You have balls for someone who doesn't know how to wrestle...which is actually pretty impressive to say the least.
crowd starts erupting in boos.
Hollywood: Now...just what the hell are you doing here? What is so important that you try to interrupt my serious concentration? Don't you realize I have a very important match tonight?
Shawn nods rather slowly.
Shawn: Why...yes, Mr. Hollywood. I came back to ask you what your thoughts are about your PWX Championship tournament match against Ness.
Hollywood: My thoughts? My thoughts Shawn? My thoughts have been on this tournament match this entire week. I've been nothing but focused for this match. My thoughts....win! This is the most important situation for me right now and my reaction to it is win. I've been telling myself that there is no other alternative. Yes, you may be questioning to yourself, well its Ness, of course there's another alternative. But the truth is, there isn't! Ness may have already thought he won, but he's getting ahead of himself. Ness is good, but he has flaws. He says he will do everything he needs to to advance tonight. Well how can he advance if I don't quit?
Hollywood pauses and looks at Shawn who doesn't respond.
Hollywood: You can't win a match if your opponent is still going strong. I have put the PWX Championship at the top of my list and as long as its there, I execute everything in my power to see that it gets taken care of. I don't care who I have to go through and what I have to do to win it Shawn. The fact that the PWX Championship is at the top of my list of things I need to get done around here is I don't quit. I will not quit. Hell, if this were an I Quit match, the match would never end as far as I'm concerned! This match could go all night if it needs to for me to secure victory. I don't think Ness has that kind of energy though. He says he will do anything he must to obtain his highest goal. Which is also to become PWX Champion. However, how can you obtain a goal when your facing a man who will die to win it? I have tried to get the message out that I am simply the best in this business and I will go out there again tonight and prove it. Ness is off his game against me. He's expecting too much of the old me and that will be his ultimate downfall. As a matter of a fact Shawn, I'm hoping he fights like hes expecting the old me. Because if he does, I'll execute my plans to elevate myself further in the tournament.
Hollywood looks into the camera.
Hollywood: Ness, I want you to know that there is a surprise coming in that ring tonight. I want you to expect one. Regardless if you think your fighting the old me or the me you haven't fought yet. You know I'm full of surprises Ness! The surprise to everyone and to you will be that I pin you in that ring and I advance with flying colors! I will finally gain the experience that I need to gain when I get myself one step closer to the PWX Championship! Everything I do to get closer just makes me even more better! Ness, you may have a shot at the championship, but not after tonight. You will have to wait even longer and while you do, you will have to tell yourself that you didn't have what it took to defeat me because you underestimated me. We will truly see what kind of mentality you bring with you to the ring. If you do try to pin me, you haven't defeated me fully. Because I will get back up and come at you even bigger than before to overthrow any chances you have at becoming PWX Champion!
Hollywood stands up.
Hollywood: Ness, you will find yourself in a complete stage of failure after tonight. Not only will you lose to me, but you will constantly have the same thing on your mind. That will be that you failed at defeating me and winning the PWX Championship. You will run in your head over and over and over again the scenario that played out in the ring tonight that cost you the match. You will dwell on it so long that it will get the better of you. You WILL make some mistake in that ring tonight that will cost you your PWX Championship dreams to me! What that is Ness, you will have to figure out for yourself! Just be on your guard tonight Ness, because there's no stopping me now. My Executive Promise will get the better of you. It will be my deciding step and your inevitable downfall! My other Executive Promise is that I will not quit in that match tonight. I will find a way to beat you Ness and when I do, it will be an Executive Victory for the history books! So Ness, how will you see yourself lose tonight? I would be thinking about any second chances you have about finding another way of becoming PWX Champion, because you won't be in this tournament! Why? Because I'm making that an Executive Promise!
Hollywood leaves his locker room and the scene fades as the sounds to the locker room door can be heard shutting..
Qualifier Match for the Ultimate Survival Match at Never Say Die for the PWX Hybrid Title:
James Silkk w/ Lillith Morgan vs Nicholas Jaxx w/ Christy Matthews
Silkk and Jaxx stare each other down as the bell rings. Silkk offers a hand shake-trying to follow the code of honor. Jaxx accepts-only to nail Silkk with a forearm. He takes him over with a side headlock-and floats over into an umbrella pin. Silkk rolls out of it before the 1-and tries to pin Jaxx with a crucifix type pin. Again, Silkk only gets a 1 count as Jaxx rolls out-and delivers a quick drop kick to the ribs of Silkk. He gets up-and shoots Silkk into the ropes-and hits him with a sleeping neckbreaker, which only results in a 2 count. He lifts up Silkk, and smashes him face first on the turnbuckle. He steps back, and plays to the crowd before running in for a Stinger Splash. Silkk rolls through the top and middle ropes, as Jaxx crashes into the turnbuckle. Silkk uses the daze to spring off the ropes-and knock Silkk down with a diving lariat. He goes for a quick cover, but Jaxx powers out at 2. Silkk lifts him up-and shoots him into the ropes, coming up with a high leg lariat. Both men are quick to their feet-as Silkk hits him with a variant of the codebreaker. He rolls into a cover, but once again, Jaxx kicks out before the three. He lifts Jaxx up-and throws him out to the floor. He steps to the far ropes-and looks to the crowd:
Silkk: LEEEERROOOOYYY JEEEENNKKIIIINNSSS!!!!!!!!!!
Silkk runs and dives over the top rope, taking Jaxx out with a corkscrew suicide dive.
Ricky: Leroy Jenkins?
Chris: You don’t play World of Warcraft..do you?
Ricky: Not as such.
Chris: Good. That reference is so like 2 years ago.
He gets up-and slides Jaxx into the ring. He slingshots himself in-driving his shoulder into the ribs of his opponent, before scoring a two count. He sighs and gets up-shooting Jaxx into the ropes-and delivers the ThrillKill as the crowd boo’s loudly. He smirks as he locks in the Anaconda Vice, and Jaxx yells loudly in pain.
Chris: He’s in the CENTER of the ring after that ThrillKill.
Ricky: He has to tap.
After several seconds, Silkk reaches back on the hold-and Nicholas Jaxx taps out violently. The bell rings as the ref holds up Silkk’s hand.
Ricky: We now know two of the four men who will compete in the Hybrid Title match at Never Say Die!
Chris: Impressive win for James Silkk!
Winner: James Silkk
Silkk is celebrating his victory, until a rousing in the crowd catches his attention. He turns around but turns right into an Exclamation Point from Danny Szatkowski! The ferocity of the Superkick knocks Silkk out cold and the crowd goes nuts for Danny Szatkowski, who is answering John Pariah's call out, with Silkk being an enemy by association.
Outside the ring, Danny Szatkowski has a clipboard in one hand and a microphone in the other.
Danny: As I'm sure you all heard over the last couple of weeks, God's last gift himself John Pariah has challenged me to step into his world and face him in PWX. Well here I am live on PWX Adrenaline and in my hand here I hold a PWX contact. But before I go ahead and sign this contract, I want to make a statement to John Pariah... He alluded to the fact that there is no clause entitling me to a rematch for his NCW Pure Title, but I would like to make it clear that this was no accident. You see, winning that belt was always meant as a stepping stone for me in NCW and mark these words when I say that I will be moving onwards and upwards to better things in NCW. But what that means to you John Pariah is that by signing this PWX contract, I am here for one reason and one reason only.... RETRIBUTION! You don't even have to put your title on the line! I just want the opportunity to step into a ring with you again and dish out some payback for what you stole from my family.
At that moment, “Rush RMX” by Kid Russell hits the PA System and none other than Jason Parker Olesen steps out onto the entrance ramp.
JPO: If you're going to be joining PWX, the first thing you need to do is learn some respect! I won't stand for you interferring in matches and then running your mouth when -
That sentence is cut short as Danny's manager, Mikey Jones, sneaks up on JPO from behind and smashes his cell phone over the back of his head! The crowd is shocked by the attack and watch as Mikey drags JPO to the ring where Danny is now standing.
Danny: Consider this your challenged answered, Pariah. You took something from my family; now I am going to take something from yours.
Mikey hold JPO down on the mat while Danny presses the tip of a fountain pen into the open wound on the back on JPO's head. He then proceeds to sign his contract in the blood of JPO and then throws the contract down onto him. "Epic" by Faith No More begins to play and both Danny and Mikey leave the ring through the crowd.
Chris: What the hell?
Ricky: Danny Szatkowski is here in PWX!
Chris: When will we see him in a PWX ring?
Ricky: I have no idea!
Second Round in the PWX Championship Tournament:
Brian Hollywood vs Ness
Hollywood comes down to the ring and poses for the fans. Ness comes out-and does the same. Alexis introduces the main event, and the two former champions shake hands. They lock up-and Ness takes him over with a Japanese arm drag. He keeps it locked in-as Hollywood gets to his feet. Ness goes behind Hollywood with a hammerlock-and rolls him backwards into a pinning combination. Hollywood forces him off before the 2 count, and gets to his feet. He hits Ness with a Japanese armdrag of his own. Both men get up-and Ness hits Hollywood with an American Style arm drag, while Hollywood hits Ness with one of his own. The two kip up-and square off in the center of the ring again, this time with Hollywood locking in a side head lock, and taking Ness over to the floor. The two continue to exchange blows for the next few minutes. Eventually, they both go for a cross body off the ropes, and collide in the center of the ring. The fans cheer loudly as both men crawl to their feet.
Chris: These two are going move for move tonight.
Ricky: They are the future of PWX.
The two stand up-and shake hands again. This time Hollywood goes for a cheap shot, knocking Ness down with a right cross. He begins to put the boots to Ness, before dropping an elbow across his sternum. He hooks the leg, and gets a two count. He shoots Ness into the far ropes-and telegraphs a backdrop. Ness delivers a quick kick to the face, before hitting him with the Point Break out of NOWHERE. He rolls into the cover:
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!!!!!
The bell rings and the ref holds up Ness’s arm in victory.
Chris: Ness is the first man to go to Never Say Die and compete for the PWX Championship!
Ricky: Who will he face? Cal Roberts or Jackson?
Chris: We’ll found out next week!
