The Totem Pole
(We cut to the outside of The Arena, where we find X-Treme Dream pacing back and forth down the sidewalk. The show is already under way inside The Arena, but from the looks of it, Dream has yet to step foot inside. Still wearing street clothes, Dream has yet to get ready for his match tonight with Brian Hollywood. When he notices the camera, he stops pacing.)
“Tonight is the night Hollywood.”
(He smirks.)
“You see, I have been out here contemplating what I am going to do to you tonight. The more I think about the words you have spoke Brian, the angrier I become. At first glance, this was just the semi-final match to get one step closer crowning the new Next Generation champion. But, it has become something far more than that.”
(Dream wipes the smirk away from his face.)
“I went back Saturday night and watched Adrenaline eight over and over again…studying every move, every step you made in the ring. Then, I watched your promo. I watched you rant and ramble, ‘executive’ this, ‘executive’ that. And, you know…I started to realize something about my status in the PWX. I realized that, in your eyes Hollywood, there is a totem pole.”
(Dream raises his right arm above his head.)
“You, Hollywood…you are up here, at the top of the totem pole.”
(He lowers his arm back down to the ground, about six inches above the concrete.)
“And me…I’m down here on the bottom, just a chump. Right?” He shakes his head. “Look, I know you have this distinguished history with the PWX. You have held titles, won huge matches, had gigantic feuds…but guess what, you are not indestructible. You have been beaten before, and tonight…you will suffer defeat again!”
(He pulls his arm back up and goes back to pacing.)
“I am hungry Hollywood. What are you in this sport for? Financial reasons? Why do you want the Next Generation title? Who wants to watch their champion prance around in a suit, trying to act all professional in front of the camera? Trying to look important every time their face is in front of the camera. That is not a champion! A champion is someone like myself. Someone that is willing to sacrifice everything, I mean everything, to get to the top. And tonight, who knows what will happen when we get in the ring. I can keep making all these promises and what not, but then I’d sound like you. The broken record you have been stuck on since I met you. I just ignored it when you and me teamed up, because hey…I was the new guy, and I needed someone to look up to. But you, you were nothing to look up to. Think about it Hollywood, if you are so magnificent, then why is Ness the Heavyweight champion? Why is Wild the Hybrid champion? Hell, don’t get me wrong, I lost to Wild fair and square…but I was not established enough to fight for the heavyweight title when I showed up. According to you though, I am not worthy of being in the NG tournament. But guess what Hollywood, I am! I earned my way…I pushed a veteran to their limits and got a time limit draw. Everything ‘Dollar General’ threw at me, I countered. Tonight though…there will not be a time limit draw. There will be a winner, and the victor will be me!”
(Dream slaps his chest.)
“Like I said earlier this week, tonight’s match is going to be a war. I want to decimate you…When the bell rings, I want my arm raised in the air. I want to be the one going on to the finals! I came up short against Wild, and I have got to make up for it. So, Hollywood…I guess it is time I get into the building. And Hollywood, don’t take it personal tonight…”
(He smirks.)
“X-Treme Dream will show you no remorse!”
--------------------
Chris: Strong words from Xtreme Dream.
Ricky: We’re being told that Kidd Karnage is in the ring, preparing for his PWX Debut against Chris Stern and John King!
[We fade to the ring-where Kidd Karnage is in the ring, as his music fades out. Suddenly, “Bleeding Is A Luxury” by ATREYU hits the PA System, and John Pariah runs down the ramp. He spears Kidd Karnage. He yells to the crowd, and lifts Karnage up-hitting him with the G2Z as the crowd has a mixed reaction. He slides to the floor, and pulls some razor wire out from beneath the ring. He smirks as he wraps Kidd Karnage in the razor wire, and drops him with God’s Last Gift. He uses a strand to choke Kidd Karnage, until security comes out. They pull Pariah off, as he takes a mic from the ring announcer.
Pariah: Danny Szatkowski! You wanted to incite a riot? You wanted a fight? Danny, you want to bring back one of the most violent matches in PWX History-a match that I’ve never lost? Danny, at End Game-we’re gonna have a funeral-because just like Micheal Norcia and Skylar Kelly before you-it’s going to be RAZOR WIRE WARFARE at End Game, and Danny-I swear to God, I’m going to end your damn career! You see that kid in the ring, his body wrecked with pain, bruised, broken and bloody from the razor wire? That’s you…look into the ring, and see your future Danny. Razor Wire Warfare III. End Game. It will be your funeral!
[Pariah throws the mic down, as “Bleeding Is A Luxury” reprises. He smirks as EMTs check on Kidd Karnage, and he walks up the ramp.]
--------------------
Chris: My god, Pariah is a man on a mission!
Ricky: No doubt about that Chris. Danny Szatkowski has opened Pandoras Box at End Game.
Chris: Pariah is ready to destroy Danny. It’s not about saving him any more, it’s about destroying him.
Ricky: Definatly. Let’s go to the Arena, for our opening match-a PPV Quality Main Event-Tyler Graves vs Cal Roberts!
Number One Contenders Match
Tyler Graves vs Cal Roberts
The match started out as wrestling clinic with both men seems to know what the other one is thinking as they just quickly reverse whatever move they execute at each other that garnered them both with an ovation from the crowd as they applaud the hard work of both men. Things get ugly when Cal started to talk trash at Tyler before slapping him across the face. Tyler quickly retaliates with a series of forearm smash before running to the ropes and driving Cal out of the ring with a lariat. Cal gets to his feet shaking off the nausea from the move as Tyler stalks him from the ring. Tyler runs to the ropes as he attempts to launch himself into Cal Roberts at ringside. Cal sees it and gets out of the way in time but Tyler managed to skin the cat and lands on the ring apron with Cal unaware of this. Cal turns around as Tyler tries to kick him but Cal catches Tyler’s feet and pulls him down sending Tyler’s face crashing to the ring apron. Tyler crashes to the unprotected arena floor. Cal picks him up and attempts to suplex him but Tyler reverses it. Tyler hits Cal with a spinning low kick to the gut. Tyler walks several feet away from Cal before charging back towards Cal. Cal sees it as he catches Tyler into a belly to belly suplex sending Tyler down to the concrete floor. Cal picks Tyler up and rolls him into the ring before entering himself. Cal quickly goes for the cover but Tyler gets the shoulder up before three.
Cal picks Tyler up and helps him to his feet. Cal then places Tyler in a belly to back position before launching him across the ring with a release German suplex. Cal pulls Tyler to the center of the ring and followed the German with a modified Surfboard as Cal applies pressure to the previously injured back of Tyler Graves with his knees. Tyler is writhing in pain as he looks for a way to break free from the hold. Tyler then uses his legs to launch himself into a back flip hence breaking away from Cal’s hold. He then quickly followed it up with a jumping knee drop that hit Cal straight into the face. Tyler then went for the cover but Cal kicks out after one.
Tyler quickly gets to his feet as Cal follows. Tyler quickly showers Cal with a series of stiff shoot kicks to the leg before Irish whipping him to the turnbuckle. Tyler charges towards Cal who is leaning at the turnbuckle as he attempts to finish this match early with the Breakdown but Cal managed to catch him. Cal quickly uses his power as he carries Tyler to the center of the ring where he dropped Tyler with a slam. Cal attempts for the pin fall but Tyler kicks out just in time. Cal then quickly changes his position before grabbing Tyler’s leg and placing it into a leg bar. Tyler struggles as he tries to crawl to the bottom ropes. Tyler is literally inches away from the ropes when Cal gets to his feet and pulled him back to the center of the ring before applying the legbar once again. Tyler is almost on the verge of tapping out but he then manage to reverse the legbar by grabbing Cal’s arm and turning the submission predicament into an armbar of his own. Cal is writhing in pain as Tyler stiffens the hold. Cal changes position and is now on top of Tyler with Tyler still holding on to the armbar. The referee sees that Tyler’s shoulders are flat on the mat so drops down for the pin fall but Tyler quickly gets his shoulder up. Cal then manage to get into a standing position with Tyler still holding on to his arms. Cal then grabs Tyler’s leg with his other arm and uses his strength to hoist Tyler up before slamming him to the mat with a powerbomb ala Rampage Jackson that causes Tyler to let go of the hold. Cal quickly goes for the cover but only gets a two count.
Cal is looking to finish Tyler up as he helps Tyler to his feet. He then places Tyler in a suplex position as he signals for the “An Ode to Perfect”. He then grabs Tyler’s left leg before hoisting up. Cal is holding Tyler in a stalling fisherman suplex position but Tyler manages to slides down behind Cal. Tyler then grabs Cal’s arms placing him into a hammerlock before twisting it into a short range lariat that sent Cal down to the mat. Tyler then goes for the pin fall but only gets the two count. Cal quickly gets to his feet and immediately grabbed Tyler from the mat. Cal once again places him into the fisherman suplex position but once again, Tyler breaks free from the hold and manage to hit the “That’s All She Wrote” from out of nowhere knocking Cal Roberts out cold. Tyler quickly goes for the cover but out of nowhere, we can see Creed jumping the guardrail and slides in to the ring. Creed pulls Tyler off of Cal as the referee asks for the bell to be ring. The referee declares Tyler Graves the winner of this match due to a disqualification but Creed quickly grabs Tyler up and quickly showers him with a series of jabs before hitting him with a spinning clothesline that floors Tyler up. The crowd is about to riot as they shower Creed with garbage. Creed picks Tyler up and kicks him in the midsection. Creed then places Tyler into a front headlock before driving him to the mat with the “Closed Casket Requiem” as the crowd continues to throw garbage towards him. Creed quickly slides out of the ring and jumped the guardrail again before walking to the nearest exit. He then hits his patented crucifix pose as EMTs rushes to the ring to check on Tyler.
Winner:
--------------------
Ben Stevens vs Erik Eklund
Both men are in the ring as Ben quickly gets to work. He quickly showers Eklund with a series of stiff shoot kicks to the shin. Ben executes a sweep that sent the big man down to the mat. Ben then stalks Eklund who is struggling to his feet. Ben then hits the ONK that sent Eklund back down to the mat. Ben then drops down to the mat himself and locks Eklund into the Itami. After a few seconds, we can see Eklund tapping out.
Winner: Ben Stevens
--------------------
[Shawn Lester can be seen walking around the backstage area. He has a microphone in his hand and appears to be confused. He looks like he's trying to find someone, but to no avail has no luck. All of a sudden, Mr. Executive Brian Hollywood comes up behind him and grabs his shoulders and says his name out loud.]
Hollywood: SHAWN!!
Shawn then turns around and gives out a surprising shout. He looks startled for a bit as Hollywood just stands there and points laughing at him.
Hollywood: Hahaha, what's wrong Shawn? Scared? I had a feeling you would SOMEHOW try and get in my way again tonight so I decided to take one step ahead of you and actually anticipate where you were gunna be.
Hollywood looks around as he speaks.
Hollywood: And as I can tell, with you standing right in front of my locker room, I was right! Figures. I mean, don't feel relieved Shawn. Just because I play a scary joke on you doesn't mean I like you now.
Crowd can be heard booing Hollywood. Shawn then tries to raise up his microphone slowly.
Shawn Lester:...Mr. Hollywood...what do you think...
Hollywood interrupts him.
Hollywood: Seriously? Your shaking all that off already? I know your still scared Shawn. You should be. Because your still a creepy son of a bitch. I'm trying to help remind you of that week in and week out. For you to be standing outside of my locker room, and me actually knowing this, that's sad Shawn. It makes me feel like your....attracted to me..
Hollywood gives off a disgusting look as he speaks.
Hollywood: That's SICK Shawn! Freaking SICK! God what the hell is wrong with you?! You need help!
Shawn tries to speak again. Hollywood once again interrupts him.
Hollywood: Oh, and now since I know how predictable you are, you are now going to proceed in asking me, "What do you think of your tournament match against X Dream tonight?" Am I right?
Shawn slowly nods.
Shawn: Yes....that's exactly...
Hollywood once again interrupts Shawn. This time, the crowd can be heard chanting "asshole" to Hollywood.
Hollywood: Go figure! See how your so "predictable" Shawn? I feel like your mentor for some reason. Telling you how to run your life. Shawn, I shouldn't be telling you how to run your life. The sad part is I seemingly know your personality too well and I'm not even your friend. This keeps getting messed up every minute..
Crowd buries Hollywood in boos.
Hollywood: As for my opponent Dream tonight? I've said this several times before, he doesn't belong in this tournament. Tonight, I'm going to prove my theory. I'm also going to prove that I am indeed better than him and that I will further myself to the Next Generation Championship next week at Adrenaline 10! The Executive Journey will continue regardless of who my damn opponent is. Dream may specialize in fighting and beating the opponent senseless, but he doesn't have the gift of strategy and intelligence. That, combined with my awesome talented abilities, will take Dream out of this tournament and out of any chance for PWX gold! I'm making that an Executive Promise! Dream, whatever chances you think of having against me, reliquish them now! Save them for people you KNOW your going to defeat! If you have doubt against me, which I know you do, save it. My Executive duty outweighs your sense of fighting and violence in this tournament! Trust me when I tell you this Dream, I WILL walk out the winner! Every single time that I have told that to my opponent, I have been right. Tonight is no different Dream. I do expect you to give me your all with no doubts tonight Dream. Only difference is that it won't be enough to defeat me! I will make it an Executive Promise to lay you off this tournament and lay to rest your dreams of winning gold when I pin you in that ring tonight. I guess you can call it...an Executive Nightmare for you!
Hollywood smirks and walks off. The camera goes back to Shawn. Shawn all of a sudden looks to the right to find Hollywood coming back. Hollywood speaks again.
Hollywood: And you thought I was going to leave Shawn. Ha, you still have alot to learn Shawn.
Hollywood then turns towards the camera.
Hollywood: And Dream....expect my Executive Promise to hit you hard tonight! For it will be the one that gets you thinking about your future in this business! I promise you that one!
Hollywood smiles and walks off out of the view of the camera leaving Shawn just looking in awe.

Special Challenge Match:
James Silkk vs Pitor Szatkowski
Silkk and Pitor are standing in the ring, as the opening bell. The two circle the ring, and lock up in the center. Silkk breaks the old, and continues the feeling out processes by circling Pitor Szatkowski. He smirks as he quickly goes for another collar and elbow tie up-and Pitor goes behind and puts him in a hammerlock. Silkk quickly moves out of the hold-and reverses it-putting the pressure on Pitor. He quickly snaps Silkk over, and kicks him in the spine as the crowd pops.
Pitor locks in a rear chin lock-trying to wear down the younger James Silkk. Silkk fights out of it-throws a few elbows into the ribs of Pitor. He quickly snaps him into his back with a fisherman suplex. Instead of bridging into the fall, he floats over and grabs the right leg of Pitor-dropping an elbow into the back of the knee. He smirks evilly as he wrenches back on the surgically repaired knee of the 62 year old veteran, before getting up and doing it all again. He goes for a third attempt-but Pitor kicks him in the face, and knocking him into the rope. Silkk comes back and tries to kick Pitor in the face-but Pitor grabs the leg-and spins Silkk around. On the rebound, he delivers a hard haymaker-and follows up with a scoop slam. Pitors knee buckles, as he falls down while dropping Silkk on his back. The ref checks on the right knee of Pitor Szatkowski, as we see Lillith Morgan hop the barricade. She begins yelling at Silkk, until Adrianna runs down the ramp-and shoves her into the ring apron. She delivers a kick to Lillith’s back, as the crowd boo’s loudly. She follows it up with a reverse DDT, as Silkk yells over the ropes at her. Pitor quickly rolls him up:
ONE
TWO!
THR—KICKOUT! Silkk gets to his feet, as does Pitor. Silkk quickly takes a cheap shot and dropkicks the right knee of Pitor Szatkwoski out from under him, and locks in an STF. Pitor gets his free leg quickly on the ropes, and the ref counts to four before Silkk breaks the hold. He picks him up-and makes a cut throat motion, as he goes for a brainbuster. Pitor lands on his feet, and turns it around, hitting Silkk with a quick Small Package:
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!!!!!!
The bell rings as Pitor rolls to the floor, and is greeted by his grandson Danny. The two cheer as Lillith Morgan joins them on the ramp. The trio hold their arms up in victory as Adrianna checks on Silkk. Fade out.
