Singles Match John Pariah vs Troy Stone
Deadline: 4-29-14 at Midnight CST
Story: These two always have seemed to be at odds against each other. They have never seen eye to eye and even worse? They've never faced off in singles competition. One would assume they've done battle against each other, but that battle has been in constant twitter war. This time, it's the real deal. With Troy Stone cutting his ties with Mr. Hollywood and the Establishment, one must wonder what's going on in the mind of Stone? The last couple months haven't exactly gone the best for Troy. If that weren't enough, Stone was brutally attacked by Mr. Hollywood a couple weeks ago. He looked fine on Adrenaline last week, but he wasn't exactly moving around too much. What will Stone's health be like when he meets Pariah in Tampa? Can he pull of the win and get back on track after being off the path for the last two months? Or will Pariah, who hasn't exactly been on the radar as of late, have a few surprises in store for Stone?

World of Stone: House of Madness
Chapter Thirteen: Pray for the Dread
Saturday, October 5th, 2013 in the lobby room of Larry Stevens' office around 12: P.M.
"So anyone knows what this special emergency is about," Troy whispers to both Megan Pierce and Bruce Bowen; both were sitting next to him in chairs as the three were sitting in Larry Stevens' lobby awaiting for what apparently was an emergency meeting. There was no warning of such meeting. Hell before this morning none of the three were expecting any type of meeting. But one text sent to all of their phones via the assistants that work for their agent, Larry Stevens and here they were, sitting here waiting for whatever this was about. All three knew that if this was a spur of the moment meeting that something big was happening; hence why all three dressed to the occasion. Troy was sporting a black suit jacket with a pink shirt underneath, black tailor made pants and had his blonde hair slicked back and in a ponytail. As always Bruce was sporting his black tailor made attire with his trademark shades across his face. And Megan was wearing a black blazer with a black top underneath and a lack pencil skirt. As the three waited together outside, from what was already felt like an eternity, the three of them started to get anxious.
"Your guess is as good as mine," said the red haired Megan Pierce. Troy looks at her for a moment before looking towards Bruce.
"Eh what about you Bruce? You know anything about this," Troy asked him. Bruce remained silent for a moment before he slowly turned his head to face Troy.
"I'm just like you two," he started in a firm voice. "I don't have a clue."
"Ah great so we'll all in the unknown here. Have any of you talked to Larry then because he hasn't answered any of my calls?"
"Same here," Megan stated.
"What she said," Bruce chimed in.
"Now thinking about it, does ANYONE know what's up with him? He's been acting weird lately. I'm wondering if the divorce is getting to him." Troy strokes his head before letting out a sigh. Recently, Larry was officially kicked out of the house he shared with his wife due to his affair with a mistress, who was now pregnant with his baby. Troy knew the the hell Larry was in and he was mainly glad that he wasn;t dealing with anything similar to that. He wanted to help Larry. he really did; which given Troy's self-serving personality was a rarity, but Troy also knew the mess Larry was in was something he should stay out of. It was a mess and Troy knew there was nothing he could do to stop it.
"Well he's dealing with his wife right," Megan asked. "Last time I heard, she's trying to take him to court."
"Which makes the fact that he actually didn't get pre-nup when they got married even worse," Troy added. "It's a shame really that he's had to deal with this because he couldn't bask or celebrate my World Championship win. It's a big deal by the way and the bash he would have threw, knowing him, would have been worthy of my triumph victory. But it's not the case. Tragic."
"Well I like to think he's worried about something more important like retaining most of his stuff from his wife."
"Normally I would argue as his number one client that I'm his first priority but divorces are always messy and he's in one hell of a mess right now so I'm going to leave this alone." As the two was conversing amongst themselves, suddenly a young brunette in nothing but business attire walks up towards the three and immediately their attention is directed towards her.
"Clarissa you actually still have this job," Troy remarked. "Figured after you screwed up one of Larry's paperwork for that sponsorship deal you would have gotten the can. But hey you live another day I guess. For now that is."
"Do you always have to be an ass," Clarissa responded. Troy mockingly throws his arms up.
"Geez why so chipping? You should honestly be happy that you still have a job. Do you know in these economic times how many dweebs are scrapping for scraps with no job? it's depressing and you're above them. You should feel happy."
"Whatever. Anyways Ms. Michaels is waiting for you in Larry's office."
"Wait, Ms Michaels is in waiting for us," Megan said with a puzzled look. Ms Michaels was Larry's number one assistant having worked with the man for almost ten solid years. Usually whenever Larry was busy, she was the one doing all of his paperwork in his office. No one gets to stay in Larry Stevens' office expect for Larry Stevens and whoever he lets in his office.
"Yes. Ms. Michaels. Right this way," Clarissa responded.
"Where's Larry," Megan asked but Clarissa shrugged it off.
"Like I said, Ms. Michaels is waiting." Megan looks at Troy, who shrugs his shoulders before him, Megan and Bruce all leave their seats and follow Clarissa down the hallway until the reach the last room to the right; which was Larry Stevens' office. The door was open and Clarissa led Troy, Megan and Bruce inside the room and sure enough, an attractive looking middle aged brunette, also in business attire, was waiting for them, sitting in Larry's vaulted seat. This was Ms. Miranda Michaels.
"Thank you Clarissa," Ms. Michaels spoke to Clarissa, who nodded her head before leaving the room with Bruce, Troy, Megan and Ms. Michaels inside. Troy had a funny feeling about this. This just felt, strange. Nothing about this scene felt normal nor did the vibe in the air.
"You all can have a seat," Ms. Michaels said to all three, to which they did.
"Hey Miranda" Troy remarked with a smirk on his face. "care to explain what this is about? I mean we get this emergency text demanding us to be here and given that apparently everyone around here doesn't want to clue us in to what's going on, yeah you got a lot of explaining to do."
"I will get to that in a moment."
"Where's Larry," Megan questioned. Ms. Michaels stared at Megan for a moment before facing all three sitting in front of her.
"Larry is not here," Ms. Michaels stated.
"Yeah we got that point," Troy added. "Now all we need to know is why. Important question BTW."
"Well if you give me a minute to tell you what's going on without asking questions I will do so. Larry isn't here and quite frankly right now we don't know when he'll be back."
"You don't know when he'll be back," Troy asked with a quizzical expression. He wasn't understanding what was going on. Neither was Megan nor Bruce.
"What do you mean you don't know when he will be back," Bruce asked with a firm tone. Ms. Michaels listened to what everyone was saying before speaking once they were done.
"Right now Larry mentally is in a state in which he is unable to run this company or be the agent he needs to be for you two. Therefore as of right now, Larry, by ruling of the board, is on extended leave. And as of right now, I am your representatives." Troy looks at Megan, who looks at Bruce as all three look stunned. Larry was on an extended leave from his own business? That was unheard of.
'Wait so you're filling in for him as we speak," Troy stated. "And what do you mean by he's not in the right mental state to be our agent? Don't be vague with us."
"I can only be vague with the details because I' not suppose to tell any of you. Not right now that is. All I can tell you is that right now Larry is not in the mindset to run his business or be your agents. Right now Larry is dealing with a few things that's affecting his ability to be the owner he usually is. Therefore because of this, I am now in charge for the foreseeable future. Everything business wise concerning you three now goes through me. Personally I didn't want to take all of this heavy lifting but right now I have to. All I know is what I've been told and that's all you guys need to know at this very moment." Troy runs a hand through his hair as he takes in the news. Whatever was happening to Larry, it was clearly affecting him to the point where his own board felt the need to remove him from being Troy's agent or running his own business. Troy didn't know exactly what was going on with Larry and with Ms. Michaels vague details. his answers weren't solved. But it did give reasoning to what Troy felt was strange behavior from Larry in between the last few quick chances he got a chance to speak to him within the last two weeks. Troy didn't know what was going on with Larry, but one thing he knew was that it wasn't pretty and from the looks of it, Larry wasn't getting out of his own personal hell any time soon. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ A few hours later
"Hey somehow, someway we may need to get a hold of Larry, ASAP," Troy was telling Megan and Bruce as now the three were sitting inside a Starbucks having lunch today. For the past few hours the three had been worried about Larry and his apparent downfall. And because of how little they knew about the extent of it, it only led to them imagining what was happening to him. One thing was clear. The divorce was certainty affecting him. His affair with his mistress that led to this rift was clearly the reason for all of this and Troy knew from the very beginning that this wasn't going to end well. From the very beginning, from the affair, to the fact that Larry got the mistress pregnant, it was disaster written all over it. But somehow Troy underestimated just how much damage it actually would have. He certainty didn't think that it would lead to Larry "mentally being unable to run his business" along with being Troy's agent. That line all of it's own is what really had the three wondering. Just how bad was Larry's mindset at the moment?
"I'm worried about him," Megan stated,
"Yeah I'm pretty sure we all are. But what can we do? He's not answering our calls and apparently no one wants to talk to us about exactly what's going on. So we're all in the dark about this for some reason."
"Well can we go see him?"
"You want to drive to Malibu because that's where he's at since he got kicked out by his wife. I mean I know it's not that far from here but I'm busy. I got cardio, I have to lift weights, have to spend time with the babe. I got pressers to do now that I'm the champ. I have to too much to do."
"Yeah I know. So what can we do?"
"What really can we do though Meg? I mean Larry's my man and I hate this had to happen to him but no one's talking. So what can we do?"
"But I have a bad feeling that he really needs some help. You heard Ms. Michaels. He's so mentally unraveled that he can't run his business. Knowing Larry as much as I do, that man is 100% all about his business and you know that too Troy. If they're saying he's unable to do that then you know he much really be in some trouble."
"Look I don't disagree with you but what type of help can we give him huh? Last time I checked, none of us is Dr. Phil."
"Well maybe he needs psychology treatment or something. She said mentally is the problem."
"Not rust me, his first, second and third problem is his wife and how much money she's about to take from his bank account. Knowing his wife like I do, she's going to go for the juggler and knowing her with the money that she has, she's going to hire those bloodthirsty lawyers types to suck Larry for all he's worth. Plus you factor in the fact that his kids now hate him for cheating on their mother PLUS the fact that I bet he still hasn't told about that the girl he slept with is now carrying his baby. Trust me, that guy needs more than just our help."
"Then why aren't you you eager to help him/" Troy listens to Megan as Bruce looks on and runs a hand through his blonde hair.
"Look you make it seem as if I don't want to help him. That man is one of the few men I can say that's actually helped me in my career and that's my man right there. But he also knew what he was getting into with all of this and he knew how this was going to turn out. He knew how big this way. He knew how out of hand this would get. I got other things to worry about. I just won the World title. I'm on a high Megan and as much as I would like to help my guy, he knew the boat he was sailing on and now he's on it. I'm at the apex of my career. I can't let myself get caught up in all of that. Not when I'm finally in the power position I've fought for four months to get. It's finally mine Megan and I don't want to ruin that when I finally have everything." Megan looks at Troy and shakes her head.
"Even when your suppose man is in the worst trouble of his life you make everything about you again."
"I'm thinking like a business man Meg. And business wise right now I can't deal with him right now."
"Can't deal with him? Is that how you see this? I know he made a mistake but he needs help right now and we need to help him."
"I want to Meg but no one wants to clue us in. They might know something we don't. And although I wish they would actually tell us what's going on, since they're not, we can't stress over it. We just have to worry about ourselves. That's what Larry would want me to do."
"Larry would want his friend to help him free falling but I forgot you can be a selfish dick."
"Meg wait- oh seriously you're leaving?" Megan jumps up from his chair and prepares to leave Starbucks as Troy lets out a sigh. Troy shakes his head before looking at Bruce, who simply looks back at him. Troy looks as Megan is about to leave before he lets out another sigh.
"Meg wait," Troy says to her quickly, causing her to quickly turn around and stare at him with a look of disdain. "You know what? If you're going to keep badgering me about this? Fine. We'll go to Malibu ok? Me, you, Bruce. We got nothing planned tonight so we'll all just catch a flight and see what's going on. Happy?" Megan looks at Troy for a moment before looking at Bruce.
"You're serious?"
"Yeah sure. If you're going to keep badgering me about it then fine. Let's check it out and see what's going on."
"Good. Because I am really worried about him and if we can get to him and potentially help him get through this, that's all we'll need." Troy looks at Megan for a moment before running a hand through his hair. The reason Troy mainly didn't want to deal with this because he was horrified with what potentially could be happening to Larry. It honestly pained Troy in thinking of what was going on with his agent and but mostly his friend. Same thing as much as Troy wanted to think about himself, a part of him was also worried about Larry. One way or the other, Troy, along with Megan and Bruce, were hopefully going to find out. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The PWX cameras spot Troy Stone in his locker room, sporting a black hoodie while having his wrestling gear on the bottoms. Troy is sitting down in his chair before he faces the camera.
Troy: A lot has happened lately and to be quite honest Troy Stone for the first time in a long time has had to look in the mirror and reevaluate things. It's like what I've said plenty of times. Pro Wrestling is a game. No matter what another tells you, this business is all a game and everyone in this business is competing against each other and if you don't have a clue of this concept, then you're not going to make it. At all. No one plays this game better than Troy Stone. No one plays professional wrestling better than me. I'm the only divine individual in this business. I'm the only guy that night in, night night, no matter what the circumstance is, no matter what's going on around me, I'm the only one that steals the show and shines brighter than anyone here in PWX.
But even divinity has to take back for a moment.
It's no secret. You dweebs have reminded me over and over again about how Troy Stone hasn't been the Troy Stone that was and still is the longest reigning PWX World Champion in history. I've been reminded about how Troy Stone hasn't been the same and the truth is for once you dweebs are correct. For the past two months Troy Stone and the House of Stone has lost some of that power that we used to wield and a big part of that is because of our agreement with the Establishment and how counterproductive that ended up being for all of us in the House. They came to us when WE were the ones on top of PWX, not the only way around like you dweebs keep forgetting and what they do? They cost us our power and then they put my babe on the shelf for their own gain. And when I cut them off like the businessman that I am, they made a statement out of me.
So I had to take a step back.
Because that doesn't happen to Troy Stone. I'm the one making the statements. I'm the one that usually has the power. But when Hollywood and Vox busted me open, poured my blood out of my body it made take a step back and realize for the first time in my career in this game I made a mistake. And that mistake was aligning with the Establishment. Letting them get on the House of Stone bandwagon led to me losing my World title, losing my gripe on this company as the true Mr. PWX. Every now and then someone has divine like myself has to step back and regroup because an average man can not duplicate Troy Stone. I'm on a high level EVERY SINGLE week. I out work EVERYONE in this company and most important I OUTTHINK everyone in this company and although I make it easy because for me it is, it's not. It's takes a lot to maintain such power and that's something you dweebs can never understand. You all can never understand how much it takes to hold the amount of power that I had. You have no idea how hard it was to make sure I remained on top in this game. No one can match my level of production. No one can match marketability, my star power, my moxy, my ability to steal any show at any given time. No one in this company can match Troy Stone.
Right now as I sit here, Troy Stone is not at the top of PWX. Right now the House of Stone isn't at the top of PWX. And for the past two months, even I have had to pick myself back up. But there's a reason why I'm divine and tomorrow night I'm going to remind every dweeb in the PWX when I finally put to pasture someone who's needed to be eradicated out of PWX and that's you John Pariah. As much as the Establishment has hindered the House of Stone from regaining our rightful spots as the kings and queens of this company, you have done the same thing John purely by your existence. Your existence takes away from my spotlight.
Everyone still sees you as Mr. PWX and quite frankly I've let that slide since last year. But now I'm to the point where I've had enough of hearing that. After what the Establishment did to me I realized when I took a step back from the game that now Troy Stone has to once again take people out of the game. Just like I did to Michael Tompkins I have realized John Pariah that you don't understand that you aren't the gold standard anymore. You're no longer the cream of the crop. I thought last year I made this very clear to you when I challenged you in your hometown and put my then Evolution Championship on the line and walked out of that challenge victorious in front of your people. I figured you would have understood when I gave you that reminder when you was facing Schmied. I figured you understood when I pinned you two weeks ago that you are no longer Mr. PWX. But you haven't learned your lesson.
So now I must put you to pasture.
And it's funny you ask when's the last time I've done anything relevant lately when in less than one year I've done something that you have never done. Not only have I reached the top of the mountain and won the World title, I main evented the biggest show of the year on top. You climb to be Mr. PWX but you've never been at the very top. You've never been able to make it that far. And it doesn't matter how many companies you wrestle in to feel good about yourself, when it comes to this company, THIS company, PWX, you have never been the best. That moniker; Mr. PWX? You haven't earned it. it was given to you by dweebs would have never accomplished reaching the peak of their profession so they label that title to someone like them. Someone who's always fallen short.
Just like you have in Mr. PWX.
Let's be honest John, you can call me a cancer and that's fine and dandy but I don't remember last year you and your little group, the Court, tried to do the same thing the House of Stone ended up doing. The House of Stone BECAME the it unit. We BECAME the very best. We said we were going to rule this company and we did. You tried to do the same thing and like everything else you do here in PWX, it fell short didn't it? You didn't even like three months before the Court became an afterthought. And here I stand twenty four hours for our match tomorrow night and I'm suppose to believe you're Mr. PWX when I have BETTERED you at every step!
Your biggest problem Johnny is that you're too stubborn to see when you're facing a superior. These people have you gassed up thinking you are the best this company has to offer well let me just ask you a question? When have you EVER bested Troy Stone? Seriously. Answer that question because you fail to ignore the fact that you steal my spotlight for no reason. You've never won a World title. You've never main event a Never Say Die. You've never won a World Grand Prix. And you certainty have never gotten one up against me. Because in this game John I simply run circles around you. Your arms and your elbows are truly, in this case, way too short to land a shot at Divinity. Every time you'be thrown a punch my way I've simply sidestepped and have punched you in the mouth. And you have done nothing about it.
Because you can;t.
You can't measure up to Troy Stone and it's unfortunate that I have to once again remind you this in the most irrelevant city of my home state of Florida instead of my hometown of Orlando because it would be so sweet to finally put to rest the facade that John Pariah is in fact Mr. PWX. But Tampa will do I guess. And Tampa will be the place John that I once and for all kill the thought that this company is built by you. Put this way, of you did in fact built this place, I made it bigger. If this is your house, I took your concept and I made it better. Because I am better. I've always been better than you John Pariah and it doesn't matter how World titles you've won elsewhere that's irrelevant in this company because when it comes down to me and you you can not touch me.
I'll deal with the Establishment and the House of Stone will eventually send them in the same direction I'm going to send you John tomorrow night. Out of PWX. And it starts when my friend Abigail Lindsay beats Nighthawk and then it's going to end with me finally putting that name of yours, Mr. PWX, off of you and onto a more rightful, deserving wrestler. Troy Stone. This has never been your company pariah because you've never been in the position in this game to even have enough power to claim it. I have done everything you haven't done. I've led an unit into a power position. I have beaten everyone I need to beat in order to claim my status as the top guy. In one year John. One year. It's only taken me one year to do all the things you haven't done and top all the things you have done. You can't tell me anything John because as far as I'm concerned, we're not on the same level. Facts are facts. You have never been able to outrun me and while this garbage you talk about making me "see the light" what this has always been about between me and you has always been who is better. And in this game, it's me by a mile. Tomorrow night I hope you wear black. I hope every dweeb in Tampa wears black because tomorrow night is the end of the Mr. PWX. because in my first step to regaining my power, regaining my top status is getting rid of one of the reasons my spotlight has been taken away from me.
You.
This has never been your house. This has never been yours. This has been mine and it will be mine again but tomorrow night, I'm kicking you out of my house. Because the real Mr. PWX has always been and will finally be about tomorrow night be the man that deserves it.
Me
Troy Stone.
The Almighty.
