***Wrestler's Entrance:
"Young man on the side of the road.
Lost and beat up with nowhere to go.
Smells like a hangover from days ago,
but he does what he can to survive."
[McAvay appears on stage with West Texas Adult Entertainment Legends Dark and Stormy, both rocking the MVW Ray McAvay ‘Show Up…Punch In…Shut Up…Get to Work’ baseball jerseys, and Bert the Janitor- who holds McAvay's Big Bertha Driver in one hand and pushes a mop bucket with the other.]
"Single mom with a dead end job.
90 hour week just to keep what she’s got.
But the bills add up and now she’s caught.
She does what she can to survive.
Well, let me say that love won’t take away the pain.
But don’t be afraid cause it will never walk away."
[McAvay leads his entourage to the ring.]
"If you’re scared that you don’t matter.
If you’re lost and need to be found.
If you’re lookin’ for a savior.
All you gotta do is turn around.
{McAvay climbs into the ring.]
No one listens to you anymore.
Any your heart has broken down.
You don’t need to move.
Love has come to you.
All you gotta do is turn around."
***Wrestler's Theme Music: (what music does your wrestler come out to?) "Turn Around" by Aaron Watson
***Wrestler's Bio: Ray McAvay started off as talent enhancement and first appeared in PCW back in 2012. McAvay wrestled there until the promotion ceased operations in 2014. From there, McAvay worked the independent circuit out West and became re-acquainted with Dawn McGill- who’d he been in PCW with. McGill had an offer to return to High Octane Wrestling as a manager and asked McAvay if he’d be interested in going there. He accepted her offer.
Under McGill’s guidance, McAvay became a much improved wrestler in HOW and won the LSD title at HOW’s War Games pay per view show in 2015. McAvay also was a two-time ICON champion in HOW and in 2016 won the HOW title at War Games 2016 when he was the last man standing. McAvay lost the belt at HOW’s final show to Brian Hollywood.
McAvay returned to a reconstituted PCW (he’d also participated in the PCW Reunion show in 2015) in the fall of 2016 at PCW’s Extreme Election Night 2016 show. When PCW again ceased operations in May of 2017, McAvay signed on with Missouri Valley Wrestling and won the MVW title in July 2017.
McAvay’s alignment is a face even though he has been known to use a Big Bertha Driver as a weapon against his opponent. McAvay is the leader of the Deplorables, a ‘man of the people,’ and is accompanied to the ring by West Texas Adult Entertainment Legends Dark and Stormy along with Bert the Janitor.
