LADDER MATCH for the PWX EVOLUTION CHAMPIONSHIP:
Evolution Champion JASON ARIES
versus
SHADOE RAGE
Alexis Lace: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following is your Initiative opening contest, and is a LADDER MATCH for the PWX Evolution Champion…introducing the challenger…..he is a two time Evolution Champion..SHADOE…RAGE!!!
"Remember the name!"
[The music starts up. Irene Cara’s “Fame” starts with its synth pop 80’s beat. The curtains part and Marissa Monet leads the way. The 6’6 Amazon strides down to ringside, glaring with her laser-like hazel eyes. She is dressed in her black battle gear. Behind her comes Shadoe Rage in his gaudy sequined cape and pink and gold ring gear. He flourishes down the aisle, spinning and his cape billowing as he shouts and threatens the audience, pointing and jawing until he hits ringside. With disdain, he threatens a child at ringside
Shadoe: Remember what you see here, baby. This is for you!
Marissa steps over the top rope, marching around the ring as Shadoe climbs onto the apron and vaults over the top rope. Marissa bends in the corner, facing the audience and Shadoe mounts the ropes behind her like a randy stallion, creating a wave of flashbulbs at the lewd tableau.
Rage points and circles his finger in the air before he dismounts and sweeps off his ring gear. He is intense, slapping his biceps, shadowboxing, yanking and pulling at the ropes. He looks ready to explode.]
Chris Caudill: Rage is poised. He wants to be an unprecedented three time Evo Champion right now!
Alexis Lace: His opponent…he is the reigning PWX Evolution Champion….JASON ARIES!!!
[The lights in the arena goes down as the lights turn blue smoke is beginning the rise in front of the entrance way as personal jesus begins to play over the sound system Jason appears in the smoke with his head down. Jason stands with his head down for a few seconds before dumping a bottle of water over his head then some in his mouth. He throws the bottle to the side walking down the aisle with his hand out so the fans in the crowd can slap it. Jason jumps up on the apron stepping through the ropes he walks over to the corner stretching out waiting for his opponent]
Ricky Cravate: Look at this shmuck! He had it all with the Untouchables, and threw it away!
The referee is on the outside as he signals for the bell both Aries and Rage begin circling one another as they begin the feeling out process. Both men lock up hard neither getting the advantage as suddenly Rage hits a quick elbow stunning Aries one after the other begins to land as Aries falls to one knee. Rage looks down at him screaming at him “Your not shit” he goes for another elbow which is blocked by Aries who begins coming back with elbows of his own. Rage comes back with a palm strike trying to go for a quick flying knee Aries catches the knee driving it down in to his own shoulder. Rage backs in to the corner grabbing his knee as Aries stands up we can hear him say “The lights are on bright mother fucker lets go to war!!!. The crowd explodes as both men begin to remove their wrist tape. They drop it and begin to just lay in to each other one stiff shot after the other. Rage catches Aries knocking him to the outside he leaps to the top rope jumping off with a double axe handle as Aries crashes hard to the floor. Rage then picks him up he whips him with such force towards the barricade Aries flips as he hits hard with the crowd “OOOOOOOOOOH” Rage grabs the ladder looking to throw it in the ring. He then see’s Aries beginning to stir so he decides to run hitting Aries full force with the ladder as he does Aries flips over the barricade in to the crowd. Rage then throws the ladder over the ropes as it crashes inside the ring he slides under the bottom rope. He lays on the top rope as he waits for Aries to get in to the ring.
Chris Caudil: Shadoe Rage is putting a hurting on the Champion!
Aries climbs over the barricade as he slowly slides in under the bottom rope Rage jumps down off the ropes and goes in to grab for him. Aries kicks him away as he does he uses his lower body strength to pull himself to the top rope as he does he leaps off with a missile drop kick as the force knocks Rage all the way to the floor. Aries waits at the other side of the ring for Rage to get to his feet as he does Aries takes off hitting a suicide dive sending Rage back first in to the barricade. Rage falls to the floor as Aries slaps a few hands before picking him up and throwing him in to the ring. Aries slides in going after him but Rage hits a nut shot quickly picking up the ladder he begins absolutely wearing Aries the fuck out. The welts and bruises begin to appear all over Aries body as Rage hits him one last time throwing the ladder down to the ground. He backs off Aries screaming out “Get up come on Aries Get up!!” Aries gets to his knees as a smile comes across his face he flips off Rage as the crowd explodes loudly Rage becomes incensed as he grabs the ladder hitting Aries right between the eyes. Aries falls back as his eyes roll back in his head. Rage takes the chance and sets up the ladder directly under the title and begins to slowly climb as he mouths off to the crowd Aries is seen sliding under the bottom rope as Rage is almost to the top Aries jumps off hitting a springboard drop kick he kicks the ladder out from under Rage who crashes to the canvas. The crowd begins to chant PWX!!!!!!, PWX!!!! PWX!!!!.
Ricky Cravate: Good god!
Aries eye has already began to swell shut as now he picks up the ladder beginning to slam it down on the body of Rage over and over Rage screams out in pain as Aries lays it on top of him he heads to the top rope looking out at the crowd he jumps off hitting a frog splash as his body crashes in to the ladder driving it in to Rage he bounces off as the crowd begins chanting Holy SHIT!!!!!!!!!! Holy SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!!! He grabs at his ribs as Rage amazingly is almost to his feet he is the first to the ladder throwing it at Aries who catches it then Rage super kicks the ladder right in to the face of Aries as he falls the ladder falls right down on top of him. Rage grabs the ladder dragging it once again setting it up as slowly and gingerly begins to climb. He gets half way up as Aries drags himself to his feet climbing up behind him as they are both on the ladder as each man begins trying to knock the other down. Rage catches Aries with a hard elbow knocking him down instead of going for the title he leaps off with another double axe handle as Aries crashes hard Rage heads to the top rope waiting leaping off he once again hits a double axe handle Aries once again crashes to the mat. He goes up to the top for one more but as he leaps off Aries comes out of nowhere with a drop kick hitting Rage in the face as Rage crashes to the mat. The crowd begins to chant This Is Awesome!!!! This Is Awesome!!! This Is Awesome!!! Aries picks up Rage whipping him in to the corner he sets up the ladder against him he backs up taking off as he does he hits a shot gun drop kick driving the ladder straight in to Rage. Both men are on the canvas completely exhausted and beaten both men slowly begin to stand up as they try to land weak shots they get to face to face and then begin hitting hard elbow shots as they get fired up Rage comes out of nowhere with a knee as Aries head snaps back. Aries comes out of nowhere with a super kick of his own knocking Rage down as Aries falls down himself. Aries begins to stir as he does he sees Rage down not moving as he grabs the ladder he sits it up under the title looking over his shoulder he begins to see Rage beginning to get up as he walks over trying to pick him up. He struggles with almost dead weight as he goes for a lock up Rage quickly escapes to the outside. He grabs the ropes Aries goes back in but Rage springboards off the ropes landing on the ladder he hits the Death By Decapitation as he does Aries gets knocked full force to the outside. Rage reaches up grabbing the title as he fails as the referee signals the end of the match Rage is grasping the title laughing as he rolls to the outside and begins celebrating.
Alexis Lace: Here is your winner…and the NEW PWX Evolution Champion….SHADOE RAGE!!!
Ricky Cravate: The King is back on his throne!
WINNER: SHADOE RAGE @ 11:30
Marissa runs the back jumping in to his arms as they both walk off with the title as Aries is out on the floor he begins to stir grabbing at his face. He begins to get up but can barely stand as he pushes the referee off he makes it to inside the ring. He uses the ropes to stand up as the crowd begins to chant ARIES ARIES ARIES!!!!!!!!!!!! As there is a standing ovation Aries bows slowly sliding out of the ring as he begins to limp to the back.

"Getting Away With Murder" by Papa Roach hits, and the lights around the entrance go out. When they come up, Michael Tomkins stands still wearing his black leather jacket with the words "3 Seconds" embroided on the back. Looking from left to right, an arrogant smile crosses his face in reception to the crowd's boos. He milks in the negative response, before heading down to the ring. Timmy Brown then appears from behind the curtain, to an even more intense chorus of boos which he ignores, heading briskly to the ring. Michael climbs to the top rope, looking around the crowd before raising one arm, holding up three fingers. Taking in the moment, he closes his eyes, before jumping back down, ready to start his match.
Alexis Lace: His opponent….the reigning PWX Hybrid Champion…OPHELLIA MORGANTI!!!
Ophelia steps on stage as "Automatic" blares over the loud speakers. She walks down the ramp, shaking her head in shame. She gets into the ring and just stares over at the stage as she waits on her opponent to make his entrance.
Chris Caudill: It's go time!
[The bell rings as Ophellia and Tomkins lock up. She immediately goes behind and tries to roll Tomkins up-but he just rolls through the move. They lock up again-and snaps her over with a quick side headlock takedown. He gets up and smirks-as the two lock up once more. Ophellia tries a go behind again-and this time takes her challenger down with a leg sweep. She follows it up by dropping an elbow into his right knee-and wrenching back on it. She gets up-and does a short DDT to the right leg of Mike Tomkins-adding torque to her attack.]
Ricky Cravate: Smart strategy, if he can't walk, he can't take your title.
[She lifts him up and shoots him into the ropes. She telegraphs a backdrop-and he hits her with a gut wrench suplex. Ophellia rolls to the apron-and climbs to her feet-as the challenger suplex's her back into the ring. Tomkins floats over into a cover:
ONE!
TW--KICKOUT!
He lifts her up-and locks in a reverse chin lock. The crowd gets behind Ophellia-as she fights over to a knee-and begins delivering a flurry of strikes to the ribs of her challenger. She breaks the hold and hits him with a belly to back suplex. The crowd roars as he rolls to the floor. Ophellia dives through the ropes and catches him with a suicide dive. The crowd roars loudly as she picks him up-and delivers a hard chop to the chest. Ophellia shoots him into the railing-but TOmkins reverses it and drops her with a spine buster on the floor. The crowd boos loudly as Tomkins lifts her up and slides her into the ring.]
Chris Caudill: Mike Tomkins is on a mission tonight!
[In the ring she gets to her feet-and Tomkins slides into the ring behind her. He stalks her-before turning her around. He lifts her up and hits her with Finishing Touch as the crowd boos loudly.]
Chris Caudill: Oh no!
[He hooks the leg and goes for the pin:
ONE!!
TWO!!
THREE!!!!!]
Ricky Cravate: Impressive win..and NEW CHAMPION!!

Tonight Brian…wins and losses are irrelevant. Tonight its about retribution. "KILLING IN THE NAME OF!!"
["Killin In The Name of" by Rage Against the Machine blares and Noah makes his way to the ring to a mixed reaction. He might threaten to hit a fan or two as he makes his way to the ring. As he poses in the middle of the ring a gold and green pyro waterfall goes off behind him.]
Chris Caudill: Noah looks great with gold around his waist!
Ricky Cravate: The Savior of the Masses will shut him up!
[The lights go out, as a guitar intro is heard over the PA System, and blue and white strobe lights flicker throughout the arena.]
“IIIIMMMM NOOTT LIIKEEE YOUUU!!!”
[“More Like You" by Scars of Life hits the PA system. James Silkk steps out onto the stage and turns his back to the ring. He throws his arms out-and yells, arching his back before turning around. ]
How can I change the image looking back when I stare in the mirror A man before me stands there bathed in self doubt hatred and fear But I pound the glass as I keep looking back at a soul that’s empty and gray.
[The fans have somewhat of a mixed reaction as he heads down the ramp.]
I push away but you keep coming back into me I am unlike you What I am is insufficient by your standards So I’ll be more like you.
[He poses on the ropes as the music fades out and he waits for the bell to sound.]
Chris Caudill: Here we go!
[The referee signals for the bell as both men just begin to lay in stiff punches one after the other neither man seems to be getting the upper hand then suddenly Silkk begins to get the upper hand Hanson then proceeds to poke Silkk in the eye. He then proceeds to pull him by the arm hitting him with a short arm clothesline knocking him down he then begins to stomp and kick at Silkk who is trying to cover up as he bails to the outside. He then starts dodging Hanson who jumps out of the ring and begins to give chase. Silkk then slides in the ring and goes for a kick but Hanson kicks the foot dragging him out and whipping him Silkk hits the post hard bouncing off as already he is some what busted open. Hanson has a sadistic smile as he can see his handy work picking him up he throws him back in the ring. He then goes in after him picking up he snaps off a quick snap suplex going for a quick cover the referee goes down for the count 1…….2 Silkk kicks out as he sits up he wipes the blood from his face and begins fighting back with punches to the mid-section and finally gets back to his feet. He draws Hanson in as he does he hits him with a belly to belly suplex driving him in to the mat. Hanson grabs at his back as he sits up Silkk comes out of nowhere with a kick to the back as he falls to his back. Silkk then backs up going for a rolling thunder type move but as he goes to land Hanson holds his knees up as Silkk crashes hard rolling off he grabs at his back.
Chris Caudill: Noah Hanson is focusing on the back of Silkk!
Hanson gets to his feet and waits as Silkk gets to his feet he hits a swinging neck breaker as Silkk hits the mat Hanson just sits there for a few seconds looking out at the crowd he gets up picking up Silkk he wipes him in as he backs up he runs leaping for a splash in the corner but misses and his head smacks the top of the ring post. He is out on his feet as he turns around Silkk hits a loud super kick and goes for the cover as the referee goes down for the count. 1…………..2……..Hanson kicks out but we can now see Hanson has been busted open as well. Silkk begins hitting elbow after elbow to the top of the head as the wound busts open a little more. Hanson not to be out done throws his head back head butting Silkk who now is grabbing at his face. He moves his hands as his nose seems to be broken. He begins breathing through his mouth. Hanson picks him up hitting him with a scoop slam and then running over he hits a springboard leg drop as his leg crashes against the throat of Silkk. He picks him up whipping him in to the corner as Silkk crashes back first in to the corner. He runs in after Silkk but he quickly moves out of the way he grabs and locks Hanson’s head and spikes him with a DDT. Silkk then jumps to the top rope as he looks out at the crowd. He leaps off going for a spiral tap but Hanson moves at the last second as he crashes hard to the mat. Hanson picks him up throwing him to the outside picking him up he runs him back first in to the announce table.
Ricky Cravate: Come on James! Take his old ass out!
He does it repeatedly until he picks him up placing Silkk on the table he looks at the top rope then back at Sillk before he quickly gets to the top rope. He leaps off hitting a moonsault crashing through the table as it explodes both men are laid out with neither moving. The referee checks on both men as he refuses to count letting both men handle this. Both men begin to stir as they both use most of their energy to get back in to the ring. Hanson quickly traps Silkk with a single arm DDT he then quickly heads to the top rope and leaps off hitting with with the Lady Killer as he goes for the cover the referee goes down for the count 1……….2………..3!!!
Chris Caudill: GOOD GOD!!

AMBULANCE MATCH:
ADAM STRYKER vs DARIN ZION
Alexis Lace: The following is an ambulance match! Introducing first…DARIN…ZION!!!
[The Outroduction hits from Thousand Foot Krutch and a matrix like background shows on the screen. The crowd goes nuts as a countdown to five hits. The crowd starts to count backwards from 5.]
5...
4...
3....
2....
1...
"The End Is Where We Begin."
[Explosions around the screen happen and blue and silver lights start to hit around the arena as "Human" by Manafest starts at the chorus line. The crowd erupts and Darin Zion immediately rush out from behind the curtain. He immediately throws both his hands out with the love symbol and starts slapping hands with the crowd.]
"Cause I wear my heart on my sleeve
If you cut me I’ll bleed
I know I cannot erase
Every mistake that I’ve made
I never said I was an angel, no
I never said I wouldn’t break down
But life keeps on moving
By now you should know
I’m only human!!!!"
[Darin immediately stops at the entrance ramp, jumps down and kneels before giving the sign of the cross. He immediately leaps up to more pyro and he starts running into the ring. He rushes over to the ring ropes and climbs the second rope and extends his hands out, jumps on the ring ropes and sticks his tongue out. He smiles as he awaits for his opponent.]
Chris Caudill: Darin is poised right now. Stryker laid him out, he got a measure of revenge when his team beat The Untouchables at Civil War-but tonight, it’s personal.
Ricky Cravate: And Stryker is going to murder him. Murder him dead.
Chris Caudill: Ever the aerator…
"DON'T LOSE YOUR HEEEEEAAAAD!"
"Get Real" roars through the PA system as Adam Stryker walks out on the stage, hearing a chorus of boos. Dressed in his ring attire and a black leather jacket, he takes a long look at the crowd while taking a last smoke from his cigarette. He throws the cigarette butt on the ground before slowly walking to the ring.
Alexis Lace: "From Los Angeles, California, weighting in at 220 pounds, representing The Untouchables... "The Loose Cannon"... ADAAAAAAAM... STRYYYYYYYKEEEEEEER!"
Adam takes off the jacket and hands it to a ring crew member before climbing on the apron. He slingshots himself to the ring and gets on the top rope, where he performs a cut-throat taunt as his music slowly dies out.
Chris Caudill: It’s go time!
[The opening bell rings as Zion and Stryker square off face to face. Zion points to the Ambulance in the corner of the arena-next to the stage-and mocks Stryker’s cut throat taunt. Stryker smirks and motions for Zion to “come on” as the crowd begins to come alive.]
Ricky Cravate: Stryker doesn’t sweat Zion. He nearly killed him. Tonight, he finishes the job! I know they’re not friends, but I believe Stryker is taking Zion out-to save him from the destruction he’s bound to get from John Pariah.
Chris Caudill: What?
Ricky Cravate: I’m sure that dreg Darin Zion is on Pariah’s list!
[The bell rings again, and the two lock up. Zion goes behind and runs Stryker into the turnbuckle. He throws a back elbow but Zion ducks and delivers a standing dropkick to the head. He continues his attack-unleashing a flurry of offensive strikes in the corner. He shoots him across the ring-but Stryker blocks it and takes Zion’s head off with a short arm lariat. He smirks as he picks him up and shoots him into the ropes. He lifts him up for a powerbomb-but Zion counters with a head scissors-snapping Stryker over and sending him rolling out to the floor. The crowd roars loudly as Zion runs at him and dives through the ropes-crashing into Stryker and sending them both into the steel railing.]
Chris Caudill: Zion is on fire tonight!
Ricky Cravate: Oh Christopher, how I wish you were being literal.
[The crowd roars as both men pull themselves up. Zion delivers a swinging neckbreaker-taking Stryker down to the mat as the crowd roars with approval. He delivers a pair of strikes to the head-before sitting him up and kicking him in the spine. He yells to the crowd and delivers another kick to the back, and follows it up with a third. He steps back-as Stryker rolls to a knee and tries to shake the cobwebs. Zion runs at him and goes to punt Stryker in the skull-but he moves back and Zion misses. Stryker immediately gets up and delivers a yakuza kick to the face-taking the former World Champion down to the mat with force. The crowd boos loudly as Stryker picks him up and slams him into the steel ring steps. He lets Zion lay on the steps-as he grabs a chair. He measures Zion-and goes to smash the chair over the back of his head. Zion rolls out of the way. Stryker lifts the chair up-but gets a jumping kick from Zion-sending the chair crashing into his face. We see a little bit of blood trickle from Zions forehead as he lifts up Stryker-who is already bleeding profusely.]
Chris Caudill: The crowd loved that one!
Ricky Cravate: The crowd is dumb.
[Zion delivers a clubbing forearm smash, and shoots Stryker into the railing again. He runs toward him-but Stryker lifts him up and over-sending him crashing into the first row. He follows Zion into the crowd and moves some fans from the area-freeing their chairs up. He sets them all up in a blowing pin array-and grabs Zion by the hair. He throws a hard uppercut and throws him into the chairs-taking them all out.]
Ricky Cravate: STRIKE!
[He smirks as he goes after Zion, who is using one of the chairs to get to his feet. He quickly shoves the chair in Strykers ribs-forcing him back. He smashes it into the back of his adversary, and drops him head first with a DDT onto the cement. The crowd roars-as Zion tries to catch his breath. He slowly climbs to his feet-holding his ribs as he waits for Stryker to get up. Zion delivers a hard uppercut, and drags him back towards the ring-tossing him over the railing and into the ringside area. The crowd roars as Zion continues the assault-reaching under the ring and literally pulling out a Craftsman toolbox. He pulls a wrench from it-and cracks Stryker in the ribs with the wrench-before throwing him into the ring steps. He grabs Stryker again-and smashes his hand with the wrench on the ring steps-as the crowd cheers.]
Chris Caudill: Zion is obsessed with destruction tonight!
Ricky Cravate: Not a single fuck is given tonight!
[Zion grabs him and drags him up the ramp-pointing to the ambulance parked to the side. He throws Stryker into it as the crowd roars. He splashes him into the corner-and grabs him by the hair-and smashes him face first into the passenger side mirror-completely breaking it off the side of the vehicle. Strykers face is a crimson mask as Zion opens the back door to the ambulance-prompting Mike Tomkins to run out of the back and attack him. He slams Zion into the side of the stage. The two continue to brawl as Stryker gets to his feet. He uses his shirt to wipe some blood from his eyes-as he goes after Zion-who just dropped Tomkins with the Zion Effect. Stryker cuts him in half with a spear as the crowd boos loudly. He picks him up and throws him into a ladder that is mounted to the scaffolding above the side entranceway. Zion grabs the ladder and swings around it-kicking Stryker in the ribs and doubling him over. He looks up and begins climbing the ladder.]
Chris Caudill: What the hell is he going to do here?
Ricky Cravate: Derpy Zion is dumber than a dog Chris…who knows. Maybe he thinks it’s a ladder match now?
[The crowd roars as Stryker follows him up to the scaffold. Zion tries to kick him off-but Stryker meets him on the scaffolding. The two brawl wildly-almost sending each of them surely to their doom many times.]
Chris Caudill: They are five or six feet ABOVE the ambulance Ricky!
[Stryker blocks a strike from Zion and delivers a forearm smash. He steps back and spears Zion again-this time sending both men hurdling down ontop of the ambulance. The crowd gasps and begins a “Holy Shit” chant as both stars bodies collide with the ambulance roof. Both lay prone and motionless as the crowd erupts.]
Ricky Cravate: I’m pretty sure Zion is going to need that ambulance now.
[Zions right foot dangles off the roof-as Tomkins comes too. He grabs Zions foot and pulls him to the floor. The crowd begins booing loudly as Tomkins drags Zion to the back of the ambulance.]
Chris Caudill: No..not this way…
[Tomkins throws Zion into the back of the ambulance, and shuts the door. He goes over and pulls Stryker off the roof-as the two head to the back door. Stryker locks the door and the ref signals for the bell.]
Chris Caudill: Goddamnit!
Ricky Cravate: Zion is probably broken in half Chris..he needed that ambulance more than Stryker tonight!
Alexis Lace: HERE IS YOUR WINNER….ADAM…STRYKER!!
WINNER: ADAM STRYKER @ 10:01
[The crowd boos loudly as the two hold arms up.]
Chris Caudill: First Mike Tomkins wins the Hybrid Championship….and now Adam Stryker might have put Darin Zion out for good.
Ricky Cravate: I know..amazing night right?

SUBMISSION MATCH for the PWX WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP:
World Champion NIGHTHAWK ©
versus
ELIJAH BLACK
Ring Announcer Alexis Lace: “This next contest is your co-main event of the evening and is a submissions match for the PWX World Heavyweight Championship.”
[Purple lights pulse around the arena as “Smash The Control Machine” thunders through the speakers…]
With the perfect hair
And the perfect wife
And the perfect kids
And the perfect life
I will finally be somebody...
[…before Elijah Black steps out on top of the ramp, surveying the arena around him with the hood of his black hoodie raised, standing with his fists clenched by his sides]
(Let's play born-again American, resistance is the game!))
[Black throws his head back, throwing the hood back around his shoulders, and shakes some of the excess water out of his hair as he begins to walk down the ramp]
Two pigs wearing suits
Brought the news
That I'm wanted by the bank
They say the rent is due
Caesar's onto you
So you better remember your place
[Black walks down the ramp at a slow, deliberate pace, a smirk on the corner of his lips as he ignores the fans around him]
Then they outsourced my job
And gave a raise to my boss
Bailed out your banks
But billed me for the loss
[…reaching the bottom of the ramp, Black pauses at ringside to flick his attention to the ring for a moment, before he paces around the ringside area]
They say we must submit
And be one with the Machines
Because the Kingdom of Fear
Needs compliance to succeed
[Pacing around the ring, Black continues his deliberate pace around the ring, staying within his own headspace and blocking out the crowd’s reaction]
So waterboard the kids for fun
It's all the rage
And play born-again American
Resistance is the game
[Quick as a flash, Black breaks from his patrol of ringside and jumps onto the apron, waiting for a moment on one knee for the right moment in his theme…]
SMASH THE CONTROL MACHINE
Work, buy, consume, die
[Black quickly scales the turnbuckles from the ring apron, standing on the top rope and holds his fist in the air, looking out over the crowd and looking pleased with himself]
SMASH THE CONTROL MACHINE
Happy little slaves - for minimum wage
[Black jumps off the top rope into the ring, slapping himself on the chest a couple of times before standing with his arms spread wide, as he turns to invite the crowd’s reaction]
((The revolution will be monetized
And streamed live via renegade wi-fi))
[…before removing his hoodie and chucking it into his corner of the ring]
(As his opponent stands in a neutral corner the lights in the arena slowly click off, one by one, as the sold-out crowd rises to its feet in anticipation of what is to come. And as the opening strains of "Holding Out For A Hero (Grand Sword Intro)" by Emery boom out over the sound system Nighthawk walks out through the curtain and stands at the top of the ramp, hands on his hips as he looks all around at the sold-out crowd with the barest hint of a smile on his face and the PWX World Heavyweight Title over his left shoulder. Walking down the ring, shaking hands with the fans in the first 2 rows of the building and making a special effort to shake the hands and give out hugs to the kids in the front row as behind him blue-and-white Roman columns of fireworks go off, the "Wrestling Machine" finally gets to the ring and stands on the top turnbuckle while raising his left hand above his head.)
Alexis Lace: “Introducing first, in the corner to my left, he is the challenger. Wearing the camouflage with black and gold he comes to us tonight from East Lansing, Michigan, and weighed in at 202 pounds. He is a former PWX Evolution Champion and a former UWL World Champion. Ladies and gentlemen please welcome….. Elijah Black!”
(As Elijah Black steps out of the corner, pounding his fists on the mat in anticipation, the crowd bombs the ring with black, gold, and red streamers as the chants of “Next World Champ” ring out throughout the arena.)
Alexis Lace: “His opponent, in the corner to my right, is the champion. Wearing blue-and-white with orange trim, he comes to us from the fighting city of Chicago, Illinois and weighed in at 185 pounds. He is making his second defense of the PWX World Heavyweight Championship. Please welcome…. ‘The Man of 1000 Holds’…. ‘The Wrestling Machine’ Nighthawk!”
(Stepping out of the corner, removing his leather trenchcoat with a slight flourish, Nighthawk holds his title above his head as the ring is bombed with blue, white, and orange streamers and the equally loud chants of “Still World Champ” and “Let’s go Nighthawk!”)
(As the referee goes over the final instructions with both men as ringside personnel remove the streamers from the ring, even stopping to check them for foreign objects or other contraband, the crowd’s anticipation slowly goes from a buzz to a full-on roar not unlike that heard from a jet engine as each man’s supporters make their presence felt. Standing in the center of the ring, neither man all that interested in letting their eyes leave the other, they continue to stare each other down even after the referee rings the bell. Laying his hand out flat to shake it Nighthawk sees no response from Elijah Black, drawing a shrug of the shoulders from the champion as he simply finishes taping up his gloves and steps forward standing right in the face of his challenger. Locking up immediately both men jockey for position against the other, only to find themselves unable to get an advantage over the other. Continuing to push and jockey for position against the other, the battle for position becoming a little bit more heated, they finally find themselves against the ropes at which point the referee sprints in to break them up as they continue to push against each other for position until Nighthawk finds himself standing on the top turnbuckle. Finally breaking as the referee becomes red-faced with his desire to see the two men break the “Wrestling Machine” comes down off the top turnbuckle and goes back to the collar-and-elbow lock-up. However again both men aren’t really able to get anything started and again find themselves near the ropes, again drawing the referee over to separate the break which he gets after yet more negotiation as the tension of the championship match is now wearing heavily on both champion and challenger. Shaking his neck out, looking more than a little annoyed at the chippiness of the match up to now, Nighthawk steps back into the center of the ring and quickly goes for a collar-and-elbow lockup one more time and again finds himself pushed all the way onto the middle turnbuckle. However, as the referee moves in to break them apart the “Man of 1000 Holds” sits on the turnbuckle as Elijah finally offers a clean break, a smirk evident on his face as he believes that he has things well in hand.)
Chris Caudill: Elijah Black impressive in this putting Ricky!
Ricky Cravate: Agreed…Nighthawk has been dominate, but lets not sell the challenger short!
(Turning back around as he continues to rub his ear that is already showing signs of abuse courtesy of the vigorous collar-and-elbow lockups that he has been a part of up to this point in the match Nighthawk again steps into the center of the ring and goes back to the collar-and-elbow lockup again, and this time is able to come out of it with a wristlock. cranking tight on the wristlock, placing his thumb right in Elijah’s palm to keep the hand immobilized, Nighthawk bends the wrist back as Elijah grunts in pain and tries to figure any way out of this he can, finally stepping inside the wristlock and transitioning into a side headlock with practiced ease. Grinding his forearm right across the nose of the PWX World Champion Elijah pulls up on the hold as if he is trying to twist his head off of his shoulders, drawing a grunt of pain from Nighthawk and the barest hint of a smirk from his challenger. Shaking his fingers no as he desperately tries to escape from this side headlock before too much more damage can be done the “Wrestling Machine” crosses his ankles together and slowly rocks his upper body and torso as he uses his hands to pry apart the grip of the headlock, quickly loosening the grip to the point where he can lock in a grounded hammerlock with his feet. Bridging back while still applying the hammerlock Nighthawk applies an inverted facelock with his hands, in essence creating a variation of the Muta Lock as he tries to draw an early submission. Shaking his head no, and even verbalizing it as well as he can with his head locked tightly in the cravate, Elijah quickly tries to look for an escape but can’t find it before grabbing the ropes to force a break of the hold as the “Man of 1000 Holds” lets go on the count of 2.)
Chris Caudill: Nighthawk would love to finish this year. Tell me, the longer this goes-who does it favor?
Ricky Cravate: The fans Chris. The fans!
(Stepping back into the center of the ring, shaking out the muscles in his neck as Elijah does the same with his left arm, Nighthawk steps back into the center of the ring and immediately goes back to a collar-and-elbow lock-up only to be caught right in another side headlock which Elijah again takes over as he seems to want to slow the match down at every opportunity. Banging his elbows and forearms on the mat in disappointment with himself over falling for the same hold yet again the Chicago native now begins to work on slipping his way out of the hold by simply rolling over onto his stomach and prying apart Elijah’s fingers with his hands before bridging up all the way out of the hold and then quickly twisting right into an armdrag that sends Elijah skidding into the ropes where he is caught with a wraparound armdrag followed by a wheelbarrow into yet another armdrag. Rolling to the floor to try and catch his breath Elijah slides back into the ring underneath the bottom rope and extends a hand of sportsmanship out to the “Wrestling Machine” who takes it, only to be popped with a hard knife-edge chop to the chest and taken over into a seated rear chinlock before he has time to respond. Seeing the strategy of Elijah unfold in front of him the Chicago native chooses to smile as the Michigan native tries to squeeze on the full nelson and force a submission. Crossing his left hand underneath his ankle Nighthawk dances his fingers in front of Elijah’s face, a temptation which allows Elijah to grab the hand and almost immediately find himself in a knucklelock which the “Man of 1000 Holds” switches into a wristlock.)
Chris Caudill: Beautiful moves in this match!
(Pulling back on the wristlock, placing his thumb right on the palm of Elijah to ensure that he can’t easily escape the hold, Nighthawk places his knee right at the triceps before converting the hold into a textbook short-arm scissors. Looking down at Elijah while still holding onto the short-arm scissors the Chicago native asks him simply “So you don’t want to wrestle anymore?” while cranking on the short-arm scissors, crossing his ankles together to get the most out of the hold. Trying to come up with a counter for it before too much additional damage is done Elijah slowly tries to pull his hand out of the short-arm scissors but can’t get it out, finally sighing in surrender and inching his boot across the bottom rope to force a break of the hold. Pulling himself back up to his feet, his left arm dangling somewhat at his side, Elijah quickly again lands a knife-edge chop to the chest before Nighthawk grabs his left arm and drops it across the top turnbuckle. Going for a springboard hurricanrana Nighthawk is forced to move out of the way, and comes up clearly holding his left knee which has been injured previously. Taking advantage of the situation Elijah lands a short dropkick to the knee and immediately locks in a figure-4 leglock. Pushing backwards until eh is in the center of the ring, Elijah continues to crank on the hold until the “Man of 1000 Holds” passes out from the pain.)
Chris Caudill: HE DID IT!
Alexis Lace: “The winner of the match, and your new PWX World Heavyweight Champion, Elijah Black!”
WINNER: ELIJAH BLACK via submission @ 15:21
[Streamers are thrown in the ring-as Elijah Black raises the World Title above his head.]
Chris Caudill: What a match!
Ricky Cravate: That makes THREE new Champions Chris!
[The crowd is mixed as Elijah Black heads up the ramp in victory, and we fade to commercial.]
-----------------------
A champion lies in waiting. There will no trumpets, no triumphant parades, no throne carried in through the parted crowd... there will be no warning. No alarm will sound to alert you. No one will shake you, whisper the rumors, point from afar... There will be no sign to awaken your senses.
There are no definitive signs to prepare you for the impending arrival. Only the warnings that he will come soon.
Sleep with one eye open. Or, to be more cautious, don't sleep at all. Wait through the nights with a weapon at your side, trying to fight the darkness and the drowsiness. Hold your head high, looking amongst the bed of stars, and wonder what you've done to deserve this. And finally? Pray. Pray that he's not coming for you.
Because when he arrives... he'll lay waste to everything in his path.
For the champion comes for sustenance. He comes for glory. And glory is worth its weight in gold.
