This is the first Gabby Austin promo I have written in a long while, would like peoples impressions of the character. What they like, what I could had done better, etc?
Gabriela Austin: “Anton Chase; hope you’re listening. I have a very special message for you. You weren’t cheated out the Hybrid Championship, you were beaten by the better man; David Wilson. Correct me if I’m wrong, your Hybrid Championship match was contested under Triple Threat rules. In a Triple Threat match you can not get disqualified. Call David what you will, abrasive, blunt, honest; good looking.. he didn’t cheat to become champion. He played by the rules. How can you feel cheated out a Championship under conditions where it’s not possible to cheat?”
“The Anton Chase’s of the world represent an epidemic in our society; classless individuals who can’t acknowledge when the individual standing across from them is better than them. When did it become blasphemous to admit you were not the better man or woman that night? Why must the individuals that constitute a classless society dig into there well for the most convenient excuse imaginable to deny their own failure. One answer to that question. Pride. I’m not advocating Pride by itself is a bad thing. There's always a negative for every positive. In the case of Anton Chase and others of his ilk, negative Pride stunts their growth. Keeps classless people like him from becoming the best they can be and prevents The Classless from improving. And above all else; Negative Pride is the mark of the truly, unapologetically classless individual.”

Gabriela Austin: ”Guess now would be the time to formally introduce myself.
:: Gabby flashes her million dollar smile ::
Gabriela Austin: My name is Gabriela Austin. Formally Gabriela Austin-Snow, I was married to a great guy; his name; Trenton Snow. Childhood sweetheart. Married young. We were going to become the GDW World Tag Team Champions last year; our dreams were dashed. Our marriage to. Then we grew apart. No one to blame. Natural cycle of life.
For a little over a year I’ve floated in the GDW development system, I made a brief run in a major company, UWA. Now I am a Free Agent looking for a wrestling company to call home. I didn’t stick around in the GDW system due to my talent. I don’t want to work for Global Division of Wrestling, no offense Dan Herrera, you run a classless organization. I am not going to risk my body, my morals, and my future on that trainwreck of a company. I’ve been biding my time waiting for the perfect company to showcase my skills. That’s a major reason I came to Pro Wrestling X.
I’m approaching the World Grand Prix as my tryout for Pro Wrestling X. When I perform with grace, excellence and class; Lilith Morgan and the executives upstairs will have no choice BUT to offer me an official Pro Wrestling X contract. I want to become the very fabric of this company. Hello. With men like Anton Chase running around and that jerk who put Ophelia Morgan on the shelf? The cesspool of classless hacks litter this company too. What can an amazing woman like me do? I’m not a Savior. I’m not God. I’m not the second coming of Jesus Christ. I learned to accept a few months ago, when it comes to classy, no one does it better than me. A few individuals are on my level. Seriously. 90% of you need a role model. Have no fear; your role model; GABRIELA AUSTIN; is here. Ten percent of the people in the world receive 90% of the spoils. I’m part of the ten percent; thank you very much.
:: Gabby lightly thumps her chest. ::
Gabriela Austin: Would I love to win the World Grand Prix tournament? Would I love to become the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship? Who wouldn’t. The cash prize means little to me personally. I am not rich by any stretch of the imagination. There are less fortunate individuals in the world who need to cash prize. Here is what I will do. If I win the World Grand Prix, I will donate the cash prize to my favorite charity. But what if I don’t win? If I achieve my main goal out of this, that’s earning a Pro Wrestling X contract I will donate my entire first paycheck to charity. Pains me watching the less fortunate struggle day in and day out. With all the rampant selfishness polluting our industry, we need more classy individuals like me.
It’s hard work being classy. Even harder work being “The Face of Professional Wrestling” I am willing to carry that burden. My mommy and daddy told me I’m destined for greatness. I agree. Time to take destiny by the chinstrap. Make some noise... and show all of you why I am all the things I know I am. The Personification of Class. A Role Model for men and woman... and quite possibly your next Prowrestling X World Champion.
:: The thought of becoming a World Champion brings a smile to Gabby’s face. ::
Gabriela Austin: Hello Tiami. classless comes to mind when I think of you. Didn’t you try so hard to earn your way back onto the Pro Wrestling X roster? Admirable. Success in Pro Wrestling X had to mean something to you, right? You wanted to be here? Maybe you didn’t. I was baffled when I watched your promo aimed at Noah Hanson for Do or Die. How can you walk into a Career Match with a mentality of having nothing to lose? I repeat; why walk into a Career Match with the mentality of having nothing to lose? I’ll tell you why, you had a back up plan in the event you didn’t win.
World Wrestling Elite was your backup plan. Made me wonder why continue with the “I want a Pro Wrestling X contract” charade in the first place.
I’m reminded of a wonderful story of General taking his soldiers into the heat of battle, once these brave men and women reached their destination Tiami, The General burned their ship into the ground. He looked at his soldiers, bellowed to the heavens, “VICTORY OR DEATH.” Victory or Death Tiami... that’s the mentality of a winner. Not Victory or we can run back to our battleship and flee. You didn’t possess the confidence to beat Noah Hanson.
Do you think great men like Troy Stone and David Wilson would ever give the thought of signing anywhere else? They would not. For men like them, Pro Wrestling X is the end all be all. I have a feeling others on the roster feel the same way. It’s called putting all your eggs in one basket. You didn’t possess the confidence to put everything on the line. So you lose, big deal; you have a job elsewhere. You could have had the common decency and respect for Pro Wrestling X to fight out your battle with Noah, lose, then look for another job. You had another job. How classless can you possibly be?
You best believe I’m motivated the hilt to ensure you don’t make it to Round 2. I can’t stomach the thought of you becoming the Pro Wrestling X World Champion. Pro Wrestling X deserves better. This company deserves a woman who is one hundred and ten percent committed to wrestling here. If by some miracle you do make it past me. I am not going to run along looking for another job. I am going to walk into Lilith Morgan’s office. I am going to show her how passionate I am about being here. That no other wrestling company is good enough for me. From what I have seen, Pro Wrestling X is the place to be. Great action. Great wrestlers. David Wilson.... Pro Wrestling X has everything. Minus one small detail... ‘The Personification of Class;” Gabriela Austin.
:: Gabby unabashedly points to herself. ::
Gabriela Austin: I’m fighting for a contract. I’m fighting for a spot on the roster. I am fighting to advance to the second round and I am fighting to earn a shot to become a World Champion this company can be proud of. No one, friend or foe; will derail me in my mission, Tiami. You might be a nice girl with a solid head on your shoulders. You might be a solid performer. None of that matters tomorrow night when you become the first of many to feel the grace, the elegance, and you guessed it, the class of me. Do me a favor, sweetie.
:: She winks into the camera. ::
Gabriela Austin: Stay classy!
:: Gabby showers the camera with a pageant wave as the scene fades to black. ::
FADE TO BLACK.
:: The scene opens up inside the backseat of a very expensive limousine. Lounging in the backseat is none other than Free Agent competitor Gabriela Austin. She’s wearing a purple dress that cuts three inches below the knee, her auburn hair is flowing past her shoulders. She drapes her left leg over her right knee. Likely known more in Pro Wrestling X circles for her close relationship with Hybrid Champion David Wilson.. she aims to make an impact on the Pro Wrestling X world as a singles competitor. ::
