PWX Adrenaline 50: World Grand Prix Charlotte
Bojangles Colesium
Wednesday, September 4th 2013
-------------------------
["Rise” is playing over the PA as the ADRENALINE opening video package plays. Highlighting the big moments from last week.]
Chris Caudill: Welcome to ADRENALINE 50!
[Pyro shoots up as the camera pans around the New PWX Arena!]
Ricky Cravate: It’s a huge milestone event night, with a Pay Per View quality main event tonight!
Chris Caudill: We are in the heart of Flair Country, Charlotte, North Carolina-where tonight in the FIRST ROUND of the WORLD GRAND PRIX, we will see the former World Champion Nighthawk take on a former Hybrid Champion in Bob Pooler!
Ricky Cravate: Not to mention three other huge bouts in this years WGP First Round-but we have a huge Tag Team Match to open up the show!
Chris Caudill: Let’s go ringside for our opening tag team match!
------------------------
PWX Evolution Champion RYAN KIDD
The Future ANTON CHASE
Versus
PWX Hybrid Champion DAVID WILSON
TROY STONE
Chris Caudill: This match is huge-as you know Anton Chase wants a shot at the Hybrid Championship that David Wilson stole from him at Do Or Die!
Ricky Cravate: Stole? Stole? He won it fair and square! What was stolen was the Evolution Championship by Ryan Kidd, not just once-but TWICE!
Chris Caudill: It looks as if the two champions are going to start this one off Ricky.
[Kidd and Wilson are the first in the ring as they lock up right away, Wilson attempts to push Kidd into the corner. But Kidd fires with a few head butts that take Wilson of guard as Kidd is able to grab him from behind with a side headlock. Wilson fights out of it though, sending a few shots to the stomach and then pushes Kidd into the ropes. Kidd comes back as Wilson drops down to his stomach and Kidd jumps over him. Just as it looks like Kidd is going to bounce off the ropes yet again, Stone gets a stiff knee into Kidd’s back stopping his momentum. Kidd turns back, staring down Stone when Wilson comes out of no where with a bull dog while Kidd back was turned. ]
Ricky Cravate: Good destruction on that one. Stone caused Kidd not pay attention to the legal man in the ring and it cost him.
Chris Caudill: You cant take your eye off the ball for a second here in PWX.
[Wilson makes the tag as he holds Kidd’s arms behind his back, allowing Stone to get a clean shot to his gut, forcing him to double over as Wilson goes to his corner. Stone grabs Kidd by the head and attempts to pound his head into the turnbuckle. But Kidd gets his foot on the rope and blocks the shot, sending a few elbows to Stone and then turning around and whipping him into the ropes. Stone comes back looking for a clothesline and Kidd ducks it, hitting him with a standing drop kick on his way back. Both men are on their feet at the same time, and Stone charges at Kidd, looking to grab a hold of him, but Kidd counters, bringing Stone down with a drop toe hold, then gets up and lays a few kicks on Stone before he gets back up to his feet. Stone is up as Kidd is looking for haymaker to the face. But Stone blocks the shot and fires back with his own. Kidd is looking to try and answer back, but Stone ducks the shot and grabs hold of him for a full nelson slam.]
Chris Caudill: And Stone throws him down with authority.
Ricky Cravate: Troy Stone looking to send a message to Ryan Kidd-just like they did last week!
Chris Caudill: What? When the House of Stone staged an attack on Troy Stone-to get Ryan Kidd DQ’d?
Ricky Cravate: Exactly.
[Stone turns around looking to tag his partner Wilson in, but Kidd is up and grabs a hold of Stone from behind. Stone turns around, looking for a clothesline, but Kidd ducks under it and some how sweeps Stones legs out from under him. Stone is on the ground as Kidd grabs his legs, catapulting him into Incognito’s corner. Chase grabs a hold of Stones head and drives it into the turnbuckle while the ref isn’t looking.]
Ricky Cravate: You don’t want to get any where near your opponents corner in this match. So far we’ve had Stone give a stiff knee to Kidd’s back when he was close enough, and now Chase drives Stones head even further into the corner.
Chris Caudill: Both teams are working extremely well together. I wouldn’t be surprised if this match went down to the wire for both teams.
[Kidd tags in Chase and he wastes no time turning Stone around and sending a few chops to his chest, and then attempting to whip him into the corner. But Stone reverses and sends Chase into the turnbuckle instead, running clothesly behind him, looking to attack just as he hits the turnbuckle. But the opportunity never comes as Chase slingshots up and over Stone, causing him to hit the turnbuckle chest first and Chase can get the reverse neck breaker. Stone is down as Chase bounces off the ropes, looking to drive his knee into Stones face, but he moves out of the way and away from danger, tagging in Wilson as Chase is holding his knee. Wilson grabs Chase by the head, but Chase sends a few shots to Wilson’s gut, causing him to let go, and get an arm drag take down. Wilson hits the ground but rolls back up to his feet charging at Chase only to get a hip toss and end up back on the ground. Wilson looks a little stunned as Chase gets on top of him and starts sending a few punches to his face.]
Chris Caudill: That’s not going to feel good in the morning.
Ricky Cravate: With Ophellia at home to make him feel better? I’m sure it wont be too terrible.
Chris Caudill: Some how I think that’s the least of his concerns. Ryan Kidd already holds a pinfall win over Troy Stone Ricky. If he wants to prove that he deserves his rematch-he needs to take it to Kidd and Chase tonight, It’s do or die now.
Ricky Cravate: No it isn’t.
Chris Caudill: What?
Ricky Cravate: Do Or Die. It’s not Do Or Die now, it’s Adrenaline 50. Christ, have you been smoking with Jamal Owens and Cash Money again?
[Chris facepalms as we cut to the ring-where Anton Chase pulls himself off of Wilson but not without getting a kick to the forehead first. Wilson gets up of the ground as Chase grabs him by the head and throws him head first into the corner, trapping him in between the second and third turnbuckle. Chase wastes no time kicking him in the gut a few times and then pulling him out, and giving him a huge over head punch that knocks him back into the corner. Chase climbs to the second rope, hoover over Wilson sending down a rain of punches that ends at nine, until Chase gives Wilson the middle finger and then drops the tenth shot. He gets down off the ropes and then successfully whips Wilson into the opposite turnbuckle, and runs at him, drop kicking him further into the corner. Wilson looks stunned and starts to walk out of the corner only to be met with a kick to the gut and a quick snap suplex. ]
Chris Caudill: You’ve got to be impressed with what Anton Chase is doing. He’s periodically wearing Wilson down to the point where its hard for him to fight back. He wants to prove a point!
Ricky Cravate: What is that Chris? He still lost to Wilson at Do Or Die-WHICH WAS TWO WEEKS AGO drunky. What exactly does David Wilson have to prove?
[Wilson is still on the ground as he rolls over and looks like he’s starting to crawl over to his partner, Stone. But Chase grabs him by the leg, pull him closer to him corner. He picks him up, only so Kidd can grab a hold of him and Chase can get a few clean shots to his body and face, just when it looks like Wilson’s had enough Chase grabs a hold of him and hits an impaler DDT. He tag’s is Kidd who wastes no time grabbing Wilson from the back and hitting him with a German Suplex for the pin.]
One
Two
Th...kick out.
[Wilson kicks out suddenly, right before it looks like Stone’s going to come into the ring to break up the pin. Kidd has Wilson up by the head as he picks Wilson up and hits him with a painful rib breaker. But Kidd holds on and delivers another crushing blow, only to pick up Wilson one last time and throw him backwards over his head.]
Chris Caudill: Wilson is in a bad way right now. He’s been punched, tossed, whipped, and dropped onto the mat in ever which way during this contest!
[Both Wilson and Kidd are up on their feet at the same time and Kidd throws a wild shot at Wilson, but Wilson blocks the shot and sends one to Kidd’s face. But the shot looked like it took at a lot out of him as Wilson looks worn out. Kidd looks for another blow, but Wilson some how comes away with the block and send a huge shot Kidd’s way. But just when Wilson blocks another shot Kidd counters with a heart punch, and a quick drop kick that takes all the momentum out of Wilson and he is down on one knee. Kidd backs up to the corner, and just when it looks like Wilson’s mid-section is completely wide open, Kidd takes off, looking for a spear. But Wilson puts his knee up and drives it right in to Kidd’s face. Both men drop to the ground.]
Ricky Cravate: Oh my god! Can you imagine what that knee could have done to Kidd face?
Chris Caudill: That was full speed for you folks who missed it. The only thing I could compare that to would be to run full speed face first into a brick wall. I would be surprised if Kidd had a broken noise, or cheek bone, or even a concussion after that one!
[Wilson and Kidd are both on their hands and knee’s looking to make the tag. Wilson is the first to dive into his corner, making the tag to Stone. Stone gets out of his corner and runs towards Kidd, grabbing him by the leg and pulling him into the middle of the ring. But he gets the tag to Chase, just at the last second. Chase charges at Stone, but Stone grabs a hold of him for a power slam. He picks himself up and Stone returns with a kick to the gut followed by a belly to belly suplex. Kidd is up and sends a few head butts to Stone and whips him into the ropes. But Stone comes back with a diving Clothesline. Chase grabs Stone from behind but Stone elbows him in the back of the head a few times only to reach around with a T-Bone suplex.]
Chris Caudill: Stone is cleaning house.
Ricky Cravate: And how! That’s how the House of Stone does it Chris!
[Stone grabs a hold of Chase and whips him into the ropes. Stone doubles over looking for a back body drop but instead Chase kicks Stone in the chest causing him to stand up straight. By now Kidd is up as both he and Chase grab a hold of Stone and whip him into the ropes. Kidd comes up with a big drop kick to the chest which stuns Stone but keeps him up, and then Chase comes up with a big time spear. Alsyum reaches down to pick Stone up, but Stone grabs him by the throat, choking the light out of him. He stands up just as Chase starts to go down to his knees. Kidd is looking to break the hold, but Stone grabs him by the neck also. He brings them both close to him, and then double chokeslams them both. Stone looks like he’s had enough as he violently picks Chase and hits him with a cutter. All of a sudden Stone looks up at Wilson who’s on the top rope and dives off with a top rope elbow. The crowd boos as he goes for the pin.
One

THRE-----RYAN KIDD spears Troy Stone into the pinning situation, breaking it up. The crowd roars as he throws Stone out to the floor. David Wilson is the first to his feet. Kidd turns him around and hits Sudden Impact as the crowd roars with excitement. Wilson stumbles backwards as Anton Chase catches him with the Chaos Theory. Kidd dives through the ropes-catching Troy Stone with a dive. Chase rolls the Hybrid Champion over:
ONE!!
TWO!!
THREE!!!!!
The bell rings as the ref holds up Anton’s arm. Ryan Kidd grabs his Evolution Title and slides into the ring-holding his arm up in victory.
Chris Caudill: Huge win from Anton Chase and the Evolution Champion!
Ricky Cravate: Ryan Kidd wasn’t the legal man! It shouldn’t of counted! Stupid ref!
[Chase and Kidd slap hands as we fade to commercial.]
WINNER: RYAN KIDD and ANTON CHASE

[Elijah Black is testing the theory about changing the world from his couch, as he’s sat on the couch of his apartment wearing a Life of Agony t-shirt, the PWX Championship propped up on the couch next to him]
If you hadn’t noticed, I wasn’t on the show last week and I’m not booked on the show this week. And if you hadn’t noticed, there is something clearly wrong with you as you watch PWX without knowing who the PWX Champion is.
As you can tell, I’m at home with the title, taking a break because after putting myself through the wringer time and again to regain the belt, coming through ladder matches one week and two out of three falls matches the next, my body wasn’t so much asking me to ease off as demanding I take a break. So that’s what I said, I said I needed time off to rest up all the bumps, the bruises, the aches, the pains, and everything else that makes waking up in the morning such an ordeal.
So while I get some long-overdue time off, I get to watch the World Grand Prix from right here, and get to see who my opponent for Full Throttle is.
Yes, I wish I was at the arena as PWX reaching fifty shows is a big deal, but mostly I want to ask the FGA guys how they can stand being in the same locker room as that Johnny Karma douche. I mean, a guy’s gotta know, right?
But, right now, I’m going to sit back, watch the show, and get as near as dammit to 100% as I physically can before I make my way back to stand before the PWX crowd as their champion, with this title, and do what I do every time I step into the ring. Until then…enjoy the show
[Black winks, as we cut to SOMETHING ELSE]

FIRST ROUND in the 2013 WORLD GRAND PRIX:
NIGHTMARE (PWX) vs BRUCE BOWEN (HoS)
Chris Caudill: World Grand Prix is LIVE tonight in Charlotte, North Carolina!
Ricky Cravate: It's a Special No DQ Match between Bruce Bowen and Nightmare!
Chris Caudill: Remember back to Do Or Die, when Nightmare kept Bruce Bowen from interfering in the Evolution Title Match-by taking his leg out with the chair!
David Wilson: Yeha, and he's scum. Just like Anton Chase, who I will personally ensure doesn't win next week in the World Grand Prix!
Chris Caudill: Yes as usual folks, we are joined by David Wilson of the House of Stone....
David Wilson: Why don't I just replace you Chris?
The referee rings the bell as both men come out of their respective corners and just begin throwing punch after punch neither man getting the upper hand. Bowen then hits Nightmare with a stiff head butt knocking him back as he stumbles in to the corner Bowen begins hitting him with stiff corner clotheslines as he begins getting the upper hand. Nightmare seems dazed as Bowen seems proud of himself he backs up and prepares to charge Nightmare but as he does Nightmare quickly moves out of the way sending Bowen crashing hard in to the corner Nightmare quickly turns him around and begins laying in stiff elbow shots knocking Bowen out seemingly on his feet. Nightmare pulls him out of the corner with a short arm clothesline knocking him down hard to the mat. He slides under the bottom rope as he reaches under the ring he pulls out a steel chair sliding back in the ring under the bottom rope he prepares to unleash on Bowen. Bowen is on his hands and knees as Nightmare begins swinging the chair violently hitting him in the back over and over as Bowen completely falls to his stomach on the mat. Nightmare backs off and waits for Bowen to struggle to his feet as he does Nightmare swings but Bowen blocks it with a punch knocking the chair back in to the face of Nightmare causing him to drop to one knee as he does Bowen comes running with a knee knocking him completely down. Bowen begins screaming at Nightmare as he reaches down grabbing him by the hair pulling his head up he starts head butting him over and over until finally busting him open the hard way as blood begins to pour from the wound of Nightmare’s head he falls back down to the mat.
Chris Caudill: The enforcer of the House of Stone is in control right now!
David Wilson: That's right you psychotic wanker!
He begins shaking his head trying to compose himself as Bowen reaches down once again pulling him back to his feet he once again begins screaming at him. He suddenly locks his arms around Bowen taking him over with an over head belly to belly suplex sending him crashing hard to the mat as Bowen begins reaching for his back as Nightmare waits for him to get back to his feet as he does he comes running connecting with a big boot connecting right under the chin knocking Bowen down to the mat. He then begins to stomp away at the head and face of Bowen. He seems out on the mat as Nightmare brings him to his feet he begins hitting him over and over with forearm strikes as Bowen is out on his feet Nightmare hits him with a knee lift to the mid-section doubling him over he brings him in picking him up he drops him with a violent power bomb as he screams out. The crowd is in awe of what they just saw as Nightmare just stands there for a few moments before reaching down and picking Bowen up. Nightmare out of nowhere jumps hitting an enziguri knocking Bowen down to one knee he quickly gets up grabbing the head of Bowen spiking it in to the mat with a DDT. He scoots to the corner as he taunts Bowen screaming at him to be a man and get up. Bowen struggles to his feet as he does Nightmare slowly makes his way over staring him in the eyes and spits mist in to his eyes. Bowen begins screaming and grabbing at his eyes as Nightmare laughs and then hits Salvation as Bowen’s head once again spikes the mat he flips him over going for the first cover of the match. The referee goes down for the count One…………….Two………….Three!!!
Ricky Cravate: A huge blow has been dealt to the House of Stone
David Wilson: I don't see how this is possible?
Chris Caudill: Well the House is getting their asses kicked today. You lost, Troy lost, now Bruce loses.
Nightmare stands over Bowen laughing as the referee raises his hand he drops to his knees sliding under the bottom rope he slowly walks to the back.
WINNER: NIGHTMARE
David Wilson: Shut up you fucking wanker!
[Wilson gets up and punches Chris Caudill in the face, as the crowd boos loudly. He grabs him and slams his head into the table-before throwing him up the ramp. He goes and takes his seat at the commentary table.]
David Wilson: My time now wanker.

[The scene fades backstage, where Lillith Morgan is walking into her office. She opens the door, and see's Darin Zion sitting at her desk-with his feet up.]
Lillith Morgan: What the fuck do you want Darin?
Darin Zion: Now Lillith, is that anyway to speak to PWX Management? Oh, Am I at your desk? Well it's mine now. Here, I got you one.
[He points over to a small grade school desk in the corner.]
Darin Zion: Now what do YOU want? Specifically Lillith, what do you want for Full Throttle?
Lillith Morgan: What do you mean?
Darin Zion: The main event of course! God Damn, no wonder Pariah dumped your ass, you're not too bright are you.
Lillith Morgan: Darin, I swear to christ...
Darin Zion: See, according to the twittersphere, Timothy Hunt is talking about cashing in his Golden Dreams at Full Throttle.
Lillith Morgan: But the winner of the World Grand Prix was going to get the title shot than.
Darin Zion: Well, whatever will we do?
Lillith Morgan: Tim's been radio silent. I say we put him in a match next week...against Noah Hanson!
Darin Zion: Interesting....than what?
Lillith Morgan: I stand by the winner of the WGP Darin. They'll EARN their shot.
Darin ZIon: Yes, but let's be real here. If someone who isn't loyal to PWX, like let's say Wayne Caruthers or Bob Pooler-win it all, do we REALLY, REALLY, want to risk them leaving Full Throttle as World Champion? Does that sound like it's good for business my dear?
[She pauses.]
Lillith Morgan: Well. no.
Darin Zion: Good. We'll discuss it later dear, now go make me a sandwich.
[Lillith balls her fist-ready to deck Zion, as we fade to black]

FIRST ROUND in the 2013 WORLD GRAND PRIX:
WAYNE CARUTHERS (FGA) vs TATE JAXON (PWX)
David Wilson: Well now that Mr. Caudill is no longer bothering us with such horrible commentary, shall we continue?
Ricky Cravate: Up next, Tate Jaxon looks to wipe his loss to Nighthawk last week away-with a win over Wayne Caruthers in the WGP!
David Wilson: Translation, this is sandwich time kids. Go find a doll to make you one.
Both men are in their respective corners as the referee rings the bell they both begin to circle each other as they lock up Wayne switches around with a hammerlock slapping Jaxon on the back of the head shoving him away as he does. Jaxon then turns around and he does he tries to rush him but he gets caught with a drop toe hold as Wayne once again begins slapping him in the back of the head as he quickly stands up Jaxon seems to becoming more and more pissed as he walks to the middle of the ring he slaps Wayne across the face. Wayne laughs it off as he returns the favor before Jaxon can compose himself Wayne takes him down with a belly to belly suplex going for a quick cover the referee goes down for the count. One…Jaxon quickly powers out as he quickly rolls trying to get away from Wayne as he sits in the corner. Wayne stands at the ready as he taunts Jaxon to come out of the corner Jaxon once again stands up and charges at Wayne who side steps sending him in to the ropes as Jaxon comes off Wayne catches him with Lou Thez press and begins reigning down punches to the head and face of Jaxon who does everything he can to cover up. He grabs his head and hits him with a snap swinging ddt spiking his head in to the mat he gets to his feet with an intense look on his face. Wayne tries to sit up but Jaxon catches him with a kick to the head knocking him back down.
Ricky Cravate: Jaxon means business tonight.
David Wilson: There seems to be a theme of these matches. PWX vs FGA?
Ricky Cravate: Seems to be!
Jaxon seems real proud of himself as he looks down at Wayne screaming at him if that is the best he has over and over. Wayne pops up out of nowhere with a stiff European uppercut knocking Jaxon back as he stumbles Wayne brings him in locking him up he takes him over with a double underhook back breaker as Jaxon hits his entire body bends over the knee of Wayne as he crashes to the mat. FIRST ROUND MATCH in 2013 WORLD GRAND PRIX
JASON ARIES (PWX) vs BLAKE PRESTON PARKER (FGA)
Ricky Cravate: This has been a hot topic match folks.
David Wilson: To who?
Ricky Cravate: The fans have been buzzing about this match. Jason Aries vs Blake Preston Parker!
Preston is in his corner with a smirk on his face as the referee rings the bell Jason removes his pure black hoodie slowly taking the hood away he has an intense look to him. Preston walks to the middle of the ring and begins to taunt him as Jason just watches on. Preston continues to taunt as suddenly out of nowhere Jason bursts out of the corner with a spear and then begins punching as he quickly gets up he grabs his arm bending it back he quickly stomps on it taking it and doing it again before Preston rolls out of the ring grabbing at his arm. Jason jumps out of the ring grabbing the arm he whips Preston in to the steps as he does he crashes hard as he sits against the steps Jason comes running with a drop kick crushing his arm between his feet and the steps as Preston rolls around screaming in pain. Jason stands up looking down at him he screams,
Jason Aries: WELCOME TO PRO WRESTLING X!
[He picks Preston up and throws him in to the ring sliding in underneath the bottom rope. He goes right back on the attack on the arm as he grabs an arm bar and begins wrenching it in the referee begins to ask Preston if he wants to give it up but Preston is able to get away from the hold but Jason keeps the pressure on. Preston gets to his feet and tries to throw a punch but he blocks it taking him down with a single arm DDT once again doing more and more damage to the arm. He picks him up and throws him in to the corner as he comes running Preston moves out of the way as Jason crashes hard in to the corner.]
David Wilson: Something of an attitude change for Jason Aries tonight.
Ricky Cravate: Is it weird that I kind of like it.
David Wislon: That's what your mom said when I stuck it in her as---
Ricky Cravate: That's enough of that!
Preston comes rushing in but Jason moves out of the way as he does Preston crashes hard shoulder first in to the post as he slumps in the corner grabbing at his shoulder in pain Jason once again comes running hitting another drop kick to the arm this time Preston’s arm seems to go limp as he lays on the mat in pain as the intense expression has yet to leave his face he places one knee in the chest of Preston and then begins hitting him over and over with hard nasty elbow shots. He stands up as he does he looks out at John Pariah who is watching the match both men stare at each other for a few seconds before John shakes his head in a yes motion as he does Jason turns his attention back to Preston kicking hard as his arm as he does a loud smack goes throughout the arena. Tears seem to be running down the face of Preston as he grabs at his arm in pain Jason comes out of nowhere with a nasty roundhouse kick to the back of the head as Preston falls face first to the mat. Jason picks up the head of Preston and begins hitting him with crossface after crossface as Preston seems completely knocked out as he just falls to the mat. The referee checks on him but Preston waves him off even though he seems out of it as the crowd slowly goes quiet.]
Jason Aries: John taught me alot of things Blake, here's one of them!
[The crowd pops loudly as Jason quickly lifts him up-and snaps him down with a Crippler Crossface.]
David Wilson: Didn't that Pariah wanker used to use that move?
Ricky Cravate: He nearly tore Noah Hanson's arm out using that move...
[The crowd is mixed as Parker taps out, and Aries lets the hold go. He smirks as he rolls to the floor not even acknowledging the referee he just walks over grabbing his hoodie putting it back on putting the hood back up he slides out of the ring hoping the barricade he walks to the back walking past Pariah who puts his hand on his head as he walks to the back.
WINNER: JASON ARIES

MAIN EVENT
FIRST ROUND MATCH in 2013 WORLD GRAND PRIX
NIGHTHAWK (PWX) vs BOB POOLER (FGA)
[“Unleashed” blasts out of the speakers as song begins to echo around the arena and strobe lights begin to flicker around the entrance area. The beams of light suddenly focus directly on the figure of Bob Pooler as he stands there soaking in the energy. Smiling as he hears the roar of the crowd screaming for his head, he makes his way down to the ring smirking and slapping away the hands of those closest to the guard rail. He rolls under the bottom rope and stands up in the corner, a smirk on his face as he stretches his arms across his chest and awaits the start of the match. ]
Ricky Cravate: This is the first time in over a year that Bob Pooler has been inside of a PWX Ring!
David Wilson: Am I supposed to be impressed? Or care?
Ricky Cravate: The former Hybrid Champion is looking to advance into the Elite 8 of the World Grand Prix this year Chris, and to do so-he has a tough challenge ahead of him: The former TWO TIME World Champion, Nighthawk!
[As his opponent stands in a neutral corner the lights in the arena slowly click off, one by one, as the sold-out crowd rises to its feet in anticipation of what is to come. And as the opening strains of "Holding Out For A Hero (The Autumn Wind Intro)" by Emery boom out over the sound system Nighthawk walks out through the curtain and stands at the top of the ramp, hands on his hips as he looks all around at the sold-out crowd with the barest hint of a smile on his face. Walking down the ring, shaking hands with the fans in the first 2 rows of the building and making a special effort to shake the hands and give out hugs to the kids in the front row as behind him blue-and-white Roman columns of fireworks go off, the "Wrestling Machine" finally gets to the ring and stands on the top turnbuckle while raising his left hand above his head as the crowd chants "Best in the World." ]
Alexis Lace: The following is your Main Event-and it is a FIRST ROUND MATCH in the 2013 World Grand Prix…..
Crowd: LETS GO NIGHTHAWK!
Crowd; LETS GO POOLER!
Alexis Lace: Introducing first, representing Frontier Grappling Arts..he is a FORMER PWX Hybrid Champion…The Queen City Saint, BOB..POOLER!!!
Crowd: Let’s go Pooler! *clap clap clapclapclap* Let’s Go Pooler!
Alexis Lace: His opponent, representing PWX…he is a former two time World Champion, the Wrestling Machine…NIGHTHAWK!
Crowd: LET’S GO NIGHTHAWK! *clap clapclapclapclap*
Chris Caudill: This is going to be intent Ricky.
Ricky Cravate: No doubt about it!
[The bell rings and both men move in. The outsider Bob Pooler manages to get the lock-up in on the PWX mainstay Nighthawk as he pushes him into the corner and the ref calls for the break. Pooler abides, and then delivers a downward elbow into the neck of Nighthawk, takes a step back and drives a HUGE knee into the gut of his opponent. Pooler hauls Nighthawk out of the corner and whips him across the ring. Nighthawk ducks a clothesline and on the rebound comes back with a running European Uppercut that sends Pooler staggering backwards into the ropes, and then right into a drop toe hold by Nighthawk to take him down.]
Ricky Cravate: Nighthawk taking the early advantage.
[Nighthawk quickly tries to lock in a Boston crab, but Pooler manages to keep himself out of it by rolling around and kicking out at Nighthawk. Eventually Nighthawk gives up and drops an elbow across the chest of Pooler, followed by a quick anaconda vice attempt. Pooler quickly scurries to the ropes before he can lock the hold in-and Nighthawk gets up. Pooler rolls to the apron, and shakes the cobwebs out as Nighthawk tells him to get in the ring. After a moment he agree-and the two lock up once more, this time with Nighthawk snapping him over with an armdrag. He goes for an armbar-but Pooler rolls to his feet and flips Nighthawk over onto his back. He goes for an armbar submission of his own. Hawk rolls to a knee-and breaks the hold by taking Pooler down with a double leg takedown.]
Ricky Cravate: These two are putting on a wrestling clinic tonight!
[The crowd roars as Pooler fights out to his feet. The two get to their feet-and lock up once more. Pooler goes for a side head lock, and delivers a pair of strikes to the head of the former World Champion. He shoots Hawk into the ropes and catches him with a leg lariat. The crowd roars as he quickly goes for a cover-and Nighthawk kicks out at 1 ½. The crowd roars as Pooler lifts him up and delivers a clubbing shot to the head-before shooting Nighthawk into the corner. He follows it up with a running dropkick to the head of Nighthawk-dazing the former World Champion. He quickly follows up with a neckbreaker: going for another cover:
ONE!
TWO!!
TH—KICKOUT!
Ricky Cravate: Bob Pooler trying to quicken the pace here tonight David!
David Wilson: I kind of like his style.
[Pooler is up again and he brings Nighthawk to his feet. He applies a front facelock and lifts Nighthawk up into the air, holding the vertical suplex for a while...BUT NIGHTHAWK MANAGES TO DROP DOWN! He stands behind Pooler...and hits a perfect german suplex on the Queen City Saint!]
Ricky Cravate: Nighthawk getting back into this thing.
[Nighthawk is slowly back to his feet as Pooler is getting to his. He runs off the ropes and comes back, managing to hit a NICE spinning DDT on the former Hybrid Champion. He then runs off the ropes and comes back, leaping up with a leg drop on the former Hybrid champion. Nighthawk covers.
ONE..
TWO..
T---Kickout by Pooler. The crowd pops as Nighthawk hauls Pooler back up and whips him into the cor---no! Pooler reverses the whip and sends Nighthawk in hard. Pooler follows closely behind and hits a huge running splash in the corner, driving the air out of the former World Champion. Pooler then whips Nighthawk across the ring into the opposite corner, and follows in with a HUGE avalanche again. Nighthawk staggers out of the corner RIGHT into a HUGE uppecut!]
Chris Caudill: Pooler trying to take Nighthawks head off with that one.
David Wilson: I would not be opposed to that.
[Nighthawk slumps back into the corner and Pooler smiles as he moves in...BUT NIGHTHAWK SPRINGS TO LIFE! He ducks under Pooler and kicks him into the corner before beginning to deliver a series of knife edged chops to the chest of Pooler, causing Pooler to wince in pain. Nighthawk takes a step back and runs in looking for a kick to the face... but stops as he see’s Jason Aries standing on the ramp.]
David Wilson: What does that wanker want?
Ricky Cravate: He did advance over Preston Blake earlier tonight David.
David Wilson: So? I did your mum last night, do you see me bragging?
[Aries smirks as he inches closer to ringside. Nighthawk shrugs and lifts up Bob Pooler-setting him up for Deliverance. He drops Pooler on his head, and goes for the cover-but Aries gets up and distracts the ref.]
Ricky Cravate: What is he doing?
[Pooler slowly gets to his feet-as Aries hops off the apron. Nighthawk turns around and is caught with a kick to the mid section. Pooler delivers a spinning pedigree as the crowd begins to boo. He rolls Nighthawk over for the pin:
ONE!
TWO!!
THREE!!
The bell rings as “Unleashed” reprises]
Alexis Lace: Your winner….BOB..POOLER!!
WINNER: BOB POOLER
[The crowd is mixed as he rolls to the floor-passing Aries, who smirks as he climbs up on the apron. He springboards himself off of the ropes and crashes into a prone Nighthawk with a 450 Splash, as the crowd boos loudly. The camera zooms in as Aries just looks over Nighthawk.]
Jason Aries: It's my time. MY. TIME!
["Personal Jesus" reprises as the scene fades to credits.]
