(OOC Note: I've talked to Brian and all that about this. He's cool with it. This is for fun anyways. Hope you guys enjoy the little extra thing here.)
Welcome to the dirtsheet, your source for all the dirt going on in PWX. We’re going to be coming at you every month after the pay-per-views, and we’re looking forward to bringing you the news of the company, hot off the presses. So without further ado, lets get to it!
The Rumor Mill
Word around the backstage area is that people are very impressed with TJ Codair since he’s entered the company. The top brass within the booking committee seems to be high on Codair despite his on going antics and barbs towards the boss hog.
PWX Legend Corey Gein was seen milling around the back. Word on the visit is that it was simply that, a visit to the PWX Family. We actually got a comment from Mr. Gein and his response was very clear. “I can barely fucking walk. I have a hard time wiping my ass without pain killers. I ain’t wrestling, get out of my face or I’ll cut out your intestines and wear them as a necklace.” We left promptly because… he meant it. Creepy fucker.
Darin Zion was seen after Cage of Death being nursed back to health by an attractive woman. Upon further review of allegations from some roster members; we tried, and could not confirm, if she had a penis or not.
Word has it that two new wrestlers were signed to preliminary contracts with Pro Wrestling X. Rhonin and Alexander Atwater are said to be quite the hot prospects. Rhonin’s negotiations had been underway for quite some time; while PWX has seemingly plucked Atwater from out of no-where. Is he another in a long list of PWX wash outs? Or is he the diamond in the rough? Is Rhonin going on to big things? We’d like to hope so, but you’re smarks, so we know you’re going to not think that. And we don’t blame you. After sorry ass Cash Money and The Masked Bob Dole have been trotted out… everyone should think poorly of new hires.
The Injury Report
John Ojeda took twenty seven stitches and is being tested for a concussion after his win in the Last Man Standing match against Troy Stone.
Troy Stone may have a broken jaw, and there are ongoing tests and checks on his neck after the Super Brainbuster to the concrete at Hostile Takeover IV. If negative data comes out, the Dirtsheet will be the first to know.
Ophelia Morganti’s career may be over after her match at Hostile Takeover IV. Word has it that Morganti was said to be racked with pain and needed hospitalization immediately after the show. We are all praying that her career isn’t over, but we will have more on this later.
Adam Stryker managed to get about 50 stitches and is being tested for a concussion. There is also some talk of swelling around his knee; but there is a lot less concern about that. One would think a week off will do his body good.
Darin Zion is also on the mend, after suffering a low grade concussion, and needing in upwards of 65 stitches in his head and back. The cut on his head was said to be particularly bad, and required the plastic surgeon to do some work. Zion is said to be recovering comfortably, and doesn’t seem to be too happy with Stryker.
The Financial Report
From what we’re gathering from around the water cooler, it was a very good month financially for the company. Sales were up in what was expected to be a down month after the Christmas season. Reports are, that the injection of new and returning talent has injected some interest in the product.
The gates have remained strong and show no sign of slowing down. It seems that PWX is putting on a product that the fans really like; and the Cage of Death and Last Man Standing matches had the fans rocking in the aisles. And in some cases, they had to scatter because of in crowd brawling. But they love that too. So expect to see packed houses on the horizons.
Word has it that the company is also looking to spend some money in some areas. The company is actively courting new talent, and as many people know, recruiting costs money! But that has been paying off in spades for the company, because the new infusions of talent has generated a lot of interest in the product. The company is also going to be spending more money on production equipment, and scuttlebutt is, more brand new HD cameras are on their way. There may even be a cable cam like the NFL uses in the package. We don’t know, we just know new shit is on the way.
The RUNDOWN!
Included with every dirtsheet, because we know you guys love it, we’re going to be running down the roster and putting our top performers in order! We’re going to give you the top fifteen, or more, every month. It’s always hotly contested. Every month, we’ll have a new rundown for you folks to discuss and enjoy.
1. John “Wrath” Ojeda
PWX World Champion
Last month: N/A This Month: 1
What a month it’s been for the new PWX World Champion. Wrath has seemed unstoppable since his return to the PWX rings. The only man that was able to take him down is a two time PWX World Champion, and no one else has been able to accomplish the task. With a month of animosity and anger, the blow off between John and Troy at Hostile Takeover IV was a thing of horrible beauty. We’re still all cringing at the super-brainbuster to the concrete floor. The Champ got the week after the PPV off, and it was well deserved. Neither he or Troy seem like they’re much ready to get out of bed, let alone get in the ring and work. Wrath vows to be at Adrenaline though, to address the crowd and the boss. Wrath, before leaving the building, seemed rather cheerful for someone that needed medical attention. We don’t know if it was a blowjob from his smoking hot girlfriend or some questionable brownies that several people consumed, but he was happy. We’re just chalking it up to him being a three time PWX World Champion now. He is in rare company now, being only the third person in nearly 10 years to accomplish the feat.
2. Adam Stryker
Last Week: N/A This Month:2
What can we say about Adam Stryker and his month other than holy shit. This guy is a monster when he steps inside the ring and there may be an imminent collision between Adam Stryker and whoever seems to have what he wants. Stryker might be hurting after the Cage of Death, but he was able to walk out with his head held high. What he managed to do in the Cage of Death would be considered attempted murder if the bout wasn’t sanctioned by Pro Wrestling X. But it was, and Stryker walked out of the sickest structure of all of wrestling victorious. It netted him the number two slot this month. Adam seems to have big things on the horizon, but he obviously needs a week or two to heal after that.
3. Troy Stone
Last Month: N/A This Month: 3
Troy Stone did not have the best month, but given his standing prior to it, it was hard to rank him anywhere but third. The now former World Champion had his hands full all month it seemed. Every step of the way, Wrath seemed to have his number. But Troy seemed to have everyone else’s number so far, so it was bound to happen. Troy is under going medical tests and won’t be wrestling at Adrenaline the week after the PPV, but he might be in the building. No one is quite sure what’s going on with the former champ at the moment. Between he and Ophelia Morganti being in bad shape, we assume that the champ and his fiancée are spending plenty of time at the hospital, and that PWX is on the back burner for the short time being.
4. Nikki Walton
PWX Hybrid Champion
Last Month: N/A This Month:4
Well, who could deny the Hybrid Champion the fourth slot. Anyone that’s won the Hybrid title is certainly having a good month. She has been in a constant pursuit of recognition in PWX, and Nikki Walton has finally gotten it. She’s going to have a long road ahead of her now that the gold is around her waist though. There are certainly going to be many challengers. John Pariah, Anton Chase, Jordan Caliban, TJ Codair… the possibilities are endless on what Nikki Walton could face in the not too far future. We think, though, that as pretty as she is, she’s just as smart. And we think she’s going to navigate these waters cautiously.
5. Nighthawk
Last Month: N/A This Month: 5
This guy is a titan of the wrestling business. When he says he’s going to twist you into a pretzel… he means it. When he says he’s going to make you tap out and that’s the end of it… it’s going to happen. It seems that the Bad Company is heading on their way through the tag tournament to the finals, and Nighthawk seems to be firmly in charge. Nighthawk has taken Jason Aries under his wing, and the kid seems to be sucking up some of what Nighthawk has to offer to his students. We should expect a lot more for the human pretzel factory in the next month.
6. Darin Zion
Last Month: N/A This Month: 6
Darin Zion hasn’t been the most active competitor, but he is still one of our best. He may have been in a few losing affairs this month, but the Cage of Death was hard to ignore in our voting this month. Darin has been known to be a bit zany at times, but the Cage of Death was a shining moment in his career. Darin did a significant amount of damage to Adam Stryker. On numerous occasions he came within half a heartbeat of winning the match; but he felt too short. But the establishment remains undaunted on their assault on the members of the PWX Roster that won’t bow to their will and authority.
7. Nikki Blade
PWX Next Gen Champion
Last Month: N/A This Month: 7
So with two big wins under her belt, Nikki Blade finds herself in the seventh spot. With a clean win over Darin Zion and a cunning win in the Ultimate X at the pay-per-view. Nikki literally clawed her way over TJ Codair to take away the mystery prize, the Mystery Prize being the Next Gen title. So with the newly resurrected piece of PWX history in her possession, what is Nikki going to do with her opportunity. Is she going to take the ball and run with it, or will her Next Gen title run be short lived and a flash in the pan. No one knows, but we do know, we’re excited about her future.
8. TJ Codair
Last Month: N/A This Month: 8
What can we say about TJ that isn’t already established. He’s brash, he’s a dick, he’s hilarious. He’s in your face and he doesn’t give a flying fuck if you like it or not. TJ has been to the top of the mountain before and it seems like he’s climbing yet another mountain in PWX. He fell just short of the Next Gen title, but we know TJ isn’t going to let a minor setback stop him from creating hell for the establishment. TJ really doesn’t like them, and they really don’t like him. So it’s safe to say he’s entrenched in this war.
9. Jordan Caliban
Last Month: N/A This Month: 9
Beating Graystone did a whole hell of a lot for Caliban. Caliban has seemed to do very little wrong this month and is working his was towards bigger and better goals. The kid seems to have a cocky mouth that pops off at random, but it is igniting interest and that’s what we like. He’s always looking for a fight and he’s always looking to mix it up with someone. With that kind of tenacity, he’s going to go very far in Pro Wrestling X
10. Abigail Lindsay
Last Month: N/A This Month: 10
The beautiful blonde has been doing a good job at making a name for herself in the tag team division. She has been lurking about with the House of Stone for quite some time, but we think that Ms. Lindsay may be getting ready to make her big move and become a break out star in PWX. She’s like a hurricane. When she shows up, it’s a thing of terrible beauty. We look forward to seeing what’s in store for her future.
11.: John Pariah
Last Month: N/A This Month: 11
It’s been a rough month for Mr. Pariah. It’s never easy to have a title you care about so much taken away from you. It’s never easy to be on the losing end of the encounter; but Pariah is no stranger to adversity. He is like a phoenix and inevitably rises from the ashes and comes back to fight another day and reclaim his spot. No matter what happened this month, John Pariah is one of the best in the world, and we know this little setback won’t put him out of action or ruin his career.
12. Jessica Harmony
Last Month: N/A This Month: 12
Ms. Harmony came back and made a big return, and seems to be coming full bore at the establishment. It seems that no one likes those guys; but they’re certainly doing their best to make life miserable for the people around them. She’s going a good job of making Brian Hollywood miserable though, and there is something to be said for that.
13. Jason Aries
Last Month: N/A This Month: 13
That’s why they call themmm… BAAADDD COMPANNYY! We can’t deny, that we like Jason Aries. This kid has the guts and balls of someone that is insane. He just never stops coming. He may get slowed down from time to time, but Jason Aries is relentless and we love him. His work with Nighthawk is showing big improvements in his in ring abilities. And one can only think Jason Aries is getting ready to break out big.
14. Anton Chase
Last Month: N/A This Month: 14
So close. So freaking close it wasn’t funny. Anton Chase fell just short of the Hybrid title, but that doesn’t mean he’s not going to make the list this month. He’s been in the trenches every step of the way and we’re looking forward to his next month. We expect him to move up the list, because one thing is for certain… he’s not going to want to be pushed to the side in the hunt for the Hybrid title.
15: Elijah Black
Last Month: N/A This Month: 15
Rounding out the Top 15 list, is Elijah Black. One half of Vox Populi and one of the most likely candidates to make it to the finals of the Tag Grand Prix. There’s no doubt that Elijah is one of the best wrestlers in the world. The only reason that he fell to this far down the list was because of everyone’s stellar months. Elijah by no means had a bad month, and we’re sure that next month, he’ll probably hover his way back into the top ten like he always does.
Welcome to the dirtsheet, your source for all the dirt going on in PWX. We’re going to be coming at you every month after the pay-per-views, and we’re looking forward to bringing you the news of the company, hot off the presses. So without further ado, lets get to it!
