The Rumor Mill
We have confirmed through sources that PWX is currently in negotiations to sign Free Agent Wrestler Matthew Prince to a contract in PWX. It’s still early in the negotiations, but PWX is looking at acquiring his services. Negotiations are said to be intense, and the hot prospect could be making his debut in a PWX ring in the not too far future.
Word has it that Alexander Atwater has been impressing people in the office all month long and that there is something special in store for the young man that has stormed onto the scene with a vengeance.
Darin Zion is rumored to be coming back to active competition sometime soon. Word from sources close to one of the PWX’s bosses’ said that the itch to compete has never gone away. With the idea that Zion may be competing soon, who knows what will happen to his half of the company. Will he have to give up his stake in the company to head back to active competition?
Jerry Clark is still around backstage, mopping things up mostly. Apparently, TJ Codair gave him a swirly when he asked him for an autograph.
When asked for comment about what Darin Zion said at High Stakes; Wrath told our writers “get the fuck out of his face. Nothing that douchebag says is true.” We’re not sure if we believe him or not, but he was very forceful, so we left.
Rumors recently are that Jessica Harmony has gone out to find someone to help aid the take down of Brian Hollywood and Tiami Tyler. When asked Jessica had this to say.
"He is someone that people in PWX are very familiar with. It is also someone that Tiami knows personally. See Ti, when it comes down to it, I always have one up over both you and Brian Hollywood."
When asked about who it was Jessica smiled real big.
"All will be revealed at ADR 73 in Phoenix. Hope Arizona bought their tickets. They do not want to miss this."
The Injury Report
Wrath suffered a broken nose in the match against Adam Stryker, when Stryker nailed him with a super kick. Wrath is expected to miss no in ring time from the injury
Adam Stryker’s left eye was swollen shut after the event last night, but he is also expected to miss no in ring time.
Leo Banks was injured by an alien anal probe.
Arrivals and Depatures
We would like to acknowledge the arrivals of Alexander Atwater, Rhonin, Ravenna, and Jayson Logan. Atwater has risen up the ranks quickly to become Next Gen champion. Rhonin has been impressive since his debut. Ravenna has been beautiful and a force inside the ring. And Jayson Logan shows a lot of promise. We look forward to seeing what they can all do in the future in PWX/
On the Departures side of things, we want to send a few people off in style and send one person off with a snickers and the hope that they’ll stop being a diva. So we’d like to wish Nikki Walton, Leo Banks, the absolute best in their future endeavors. They are very valuable talents, and will be welcomed back with open arms when and if they decide to return. As for Mr. Caliban… the box of snickers is in the mail.
The Financial Report
It’s been a steady climb for PWX in the ratings and the profits department. With the current ratings hovering in the low 5s, we’ve been capturing a good chunk of the market share.
And with commanding a good chunk of the market share, we’re also dominating in the merchandising department. It flew off the stands during High Stakes, and the most popular shirts were the company colors. God are our fans loyal. We love you guys. And with that, means new advertising.
So PWX would like to welcome our new sponsors Infragable Krunk cannabis seeds, home of the monster purple buds that are strong as fuck!
THE RUNDOWN!
1 John Ojeda
PWX World Champion
Last month: 1 This Month: 1
The PWX World Champion had a big month. He managed to defend his title, damn near got PWX kicked off television, and escaped with his Championship by the skin of his teeth. The man at the top of the mountain still has a big target on his back, and after what Darin Zion said, there is no doubt that there is going to be little love lost between Wrath and the number one contender to his belt, Adam Stryker. No one knows how the match at High Stakes would have ended, but we’ll get a chance to find out soon.
2 Adam Stryker
Last month: 2 This Month: 2
Inches away, and possibly just a few more seconds, and Adam Stryker would be PWX World Champion. Without Darin Zion calling the Time Limit Draw, Adam Stryker may be the PWX World Champion. But those things did happen and Adam Stryker had to walk away from High Stakes without the PWX World Championship in his possession. But Stryker got some level of satisfaction, even If it was a complete accident. He got to drive Darin Zion through the announce table, and no one knows what Zion is going to do about it, but Stryker landed himself the second spot on the list.
3 TJ Codair
PWX Hybrid Champion
Last month: 8 This Month: 3 (+5)
PWX has a new Hybrid Champion and his name is TJ Codair. Codair plowed through several people on his way to the Hybrid Championship. After running off Jordan Caliban, TJ worked his way to the Hybrid title and took Ms. Nikki Walton out as well. Rumor has it, that after the battle with Codair, Walton was so shaken up that she has left Pro Wrestling X. We’re not sure if TJ did it, or if she just wanted to leave, but it happened. And TJ has happened. And PWX will never be the same. Not now that the Hybrid title is in the possession of one of the craziest, most foul mouthed wrestlers PWX has ever seen. And that’s saying a lot. No one quite knows where TJ is going from here, but he’s definitely going to have a big month ahead of him
4 Nighthawk
Last month: 5 This Month: 4 (+1)
Nighthawk was so close, but so far away from the Tag Team gold, that he could practically taste it. Despite dead ending in the tag team division, Nighthawk is still one of the most respected competitors on the roster. On any given night he is more dangerous than the majority of wrestlers at their absolute best. The next month could be a big month for Nighthawk, or it could be a quiet month where the competitor gathers himself and finds a new resolve. Only time will tell.
5 Nikki Blade
Last month: 7 This Month: 5 (+2)
This young lady has been on fire as of late, and the only thing that seemed to slow her down was a freight train named Atwater. Despite the fact that she has just recently lost her title, the month that she had was nothing short of impressive and she managed to improve her rankings from last month with a solid performance all month. She has a ton of momentum, and one can only imagine that losing the Next Gen championship is going to light a fire under her pretty little ass.
6 Alexander Atwater
PWX Next Gen Champion
Last month: N/A This Month: 6 (+9)
The new Next Gen champion has been a monster since arriving on the scene just a month ago. Fists and feet of fury haven’t failed this kid yet. He’s beaten several opponents, and capped off High Stakes with a win over Nikki Blade and a shiny new belt in his possession. He’s also seemingly caught the attention of the people in charge of the company. Word has it, Brian Hollywood has taken a person interest in Atwater, and the young striker seems poised to go on and do big things in Pro Wrestling X
7 David Wilson
Last month: N/A This Month: 7 (+8)
David Wilson has had an interesting month. He lost a very tightly and hotly contested match to the new Next Gen Champion, and then won a Main Event Lottery match. Wilson now has the limelight at any time he chooses, and he seems to be quite content to pick his spot very soon. No one quite knows what he’ll do, who he’ll choose, or when he’ll do it, but until then, Wilson seems content to let everyone sit and wonder.
8 El Mascara De Norte
One Half of the PWX Tag Team Champions
Last month: N/A This Month: 8 (+7)
Norte, one half of the now Tag Team champions, finds himself in the eighth position, and on the list for the first time. Winning the tag tournament catapulted him and his partner Muerto into the spotlight and rare status of PWX Tag Team Champion. No one quite knows what’s next for the new Tag Champs, but they’re prepared to take on all comers.
9 La Sombra Muerto
One Half of the PWX Tag Team Champions
Last month: N/A This Month: 9 (+6)
Eight, nine… nine, eight. There really wasn’t much difference between where Muerto and Norte were ranked this month. Both men did their share of the work to land themselves on the list and land themselves the Tag Team Championships. Muerto did his planchas, platas, and suicidas , arm drags and much more when the time came. No one is quite sure who the Tag Team champions will be defending against at the next pay-per-view, but they will be doing so apparently. We weren’t allowed to give them a tie, because we wanted too (you’re a dick Brian, but I really love my job so please don’t fire me your Excellency), so we flipped a coin.
10 Elijah Black
Last month: N/A This Month: 10 (+5)
Another man that was so close, yet so far away from the Tag Team championship gold. There was yet again, much debate in our office as to where to rank Mr. Black. Elijah Black is absolutely a world class competitor, and is someone that, on any other roster, might be their top guy. Black certainly improved his standings, and being the only man to hand the new Next Gen champion a loss, is certainly something he should be proud of. If Black has another big month like he did leading into High Stakes, he’ll probably find himself in the Top 5 and be looking at that rarified air that comes with being the elite of the elite.
11 Ravenna
Last month: N/A This Month: 11 (+4)
Ohhh is she sexy. And she’s dangerous. She can probably kick my ass, and I gotta admit, that kind of turns me on. Ravenna has been very impressive since she debuted in PWX, and has had her hands full seemingly since the beginning as well. She has managed to make an enemy of Brian Hollywood, and that usually isn’t a good place to find yourself. Usually, that tends to make life very miserable for someone, but Ravenna seems to be weathering the storm, and the big win at High Stakes landed her firmly on the list.
12 Rhonin
Last month: N/A This Month: 12 (+3)
Another of the arrivals in the fresh talent division is the man known as Rhonin. Rhonin started off with a debut in what has been deemed ‘the best welcome to PWX match’ in the history of the company. He may have been on the losing end of that affair, but he’s been a winner ever since. He too, has made an enemy of Brian Hollywood, only it seems he’s made more enemies than that. There is no love lost between Rhonin and Alex Atwater, and it seems that things are getting a little tense between Rhonin and the Next Gen Champ. Only time will tell where Rhonin is going next though.
13 Troy Stone
Last month:3 This Month: 13 (-10)
It’s been a very quiet month for Troy Stone. After losing the title at Hostile Takeover, and failing to regain the title in the return bout between he and Wrath, has found Troy’s stock dropping down the rankings list at a rapid rate. His drop in status, so quickly, has much more to do with the fact that he took some down time to recuperate after the two matches with Wrath. Troy Stone will more likely than not, have a much busier month now that some of the bumps and bruises from two tremendously brutal matches in such rapid succession have healed.
14 Tiami Tyler
Last month: N/A This Month: 14 (+1)
Tyler finds herself on the list after putting in a tremendous amount of effort in the past month. She hasn’t had too many wins, but it’s hard not to consider her when you consider the strength of her past months schedule. When you end up wrestling the best people in the world, week in, week out… you’re bound to catch a stretch where things don’t go your way. And unfortunately for Tiami, she’s ran into a few brick walls along the way. This month, however, seems to be looking in a direction where violence is bound to ensue.
15 Schmied
Last month: N/A This Month: 15 (+1)
There was tons of arguments about who to put at fifteenth. So many people could have been placed here and it would have been acceptable. We put Schmied here because he creeps us the fuck out and we’re afraid to slight him. We’d leave him off the list, but he might show up and turn our kids into human sock puppets. We don’t like the thought of that, so instead of irritating the big, creepy bastard… we’re just going to put him on the list and pretend we didn’t puke just a little bit and wet ourselves when we had to hear and smell his voice.
That’s all we have for this week folks! This is Jimmy Jack Johnson, signing off! Thanks for reading/watching PWX’s Dirtsheet!
