...is the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion, being on top of the company that slowly goes down the water thanks to its financial problems. Your opinion?
I, as a fan of Sabin, like it, but if I were the head booker of TNA, I would be sceptic about giving the World Title to a man who missed two years because of his knee injuries.

I see your point. But the story was PERFECT if not a little rushed. It's actually somethinsimilar to something I'm working on with someone for a later event this year....(can't get any vaguer than THAT!)
With that...TNA needed to put the belt on Sabin. They're trying to come up with an equivalent to Money In The Bank. They tried Feast or Fired, and it failed.
Option C / Destination X is their newest attempt, and for it to be successful in the long term and mean ANYTHING. it needs to have a 100% success rate, and it has to be used to create new champions. Look at all the MITB cash ins: Edge, Edge, RVD, Punk, Bryan, Ziggler, All cashed in for their FIRST World Title. Same with Aries and Sabin now. This needs to keep up for the next couple of years to make this a successful thing.
Again. I LOVE Sabin. I love the story they've played. And I'm happy with them putting the belt on a TRUE TNA homegrown talent.
